Two thirds of 540,000 is 360k. “Around half” is £270k. I’d argue “around” is nowhere near the same thing.

You tried to argue a point. I corrected you. You didn’t like being challenged and so I’m now “intolerant”. Don’t think I’ll lose any sleep, but thanks for your participation anyway...!

hearing the kit is going to be announced mid-june along with the unveiling of three new signings (currently on holiday, so can’t put pen to paper until back), each modelling one of the three new home, away and third kits.

also hearing that the design of the new home kit is going to be a tribute to the 20th anniversary of avoiding relegation from the premier league so expect claret shorts and amber socks along with ‘wide stripes’ on the home shirt with a big collar. a tribute will be made to the wetherall goal with ‘12’ on one sleeve marking the minute he scored the winner in with ‘36’ on the other; the number of points we got to stave off relegation with ‘1999-2000’ underneath the fold of the collar.

I sincerely hope not or that is the most tin pot thing I'll have ever seen.

Can you imagine trying to explain the significance of the numbers on your shirt to a Town or Leeds fan? "Yeah mate, it's for when we were only the fourth sh1test team in the league".

Its not usual is it for a fourth tier football team to have three kits is it ? I'd prefer one kit based on the 60s deck chair kit and maybe a complete "out there" alternative plain all one colour away - white ? and call that it. We don't need three kits for the football we'll be playing next season. Look at Halifax ? Harrogate ? Guiseley ? Park Avenue? just two kits were not different are we ???

Your fishing is the worst and most obvious I've ever seen on any forum. Do you ever get any bites with this approach or is it a work in progress?

If you say the word “orange” really slowly, it sounds like Gullible.

I've just looked up the meaning of 'gullible' in the dictionary but couldn't find it. How odd.

A tribute to avoiding relegation? What a load of nonsense. However, if by any chance its true, how embarrasing

Seems over contrived to me.Think it would make more sense to attract more shirt sponsorship deals personally.

I disagree ? Arguably that was a magnificent achievement by the club and those players? We labelled the League Cup Final team "History Makers" as though none of the preceeding players achieved anything by comparison ?. The Players that fought the Premier League survival campaign over an arduous challenging season against the odds arguably achieved more. So if it's back to the Rhubarb & Custard kit in a salute to those "History Makers" then I'm fine with that. Also a shirt with a collar appeals for once. Footnote if Bowyer is unveiling signings into mid June to coincide with the new shirts then that's way too late. We need leaders and pivotal players through that front door on June 1. He's been in discussions with targets and agents for three months now ! ? Putting us way ahead of the rest on recruitment because we knew exactly where we would be in August !. Not as if we are piddly Smallford still scrating around in Non League with an idea that they might be in League 2 next season is it ?
