When you strip it all back, it’s actually a real shame for the lad. There’s clearly some talent there, but he’s making really bad decisions which is likely to prevent him having any sort of a decent football career.

Sadly as many situations in life, perhaps influences around him aren’t considering his best interests. Illegal Poaching, gambling - really not a good look. Sure if he carries on this way his name will be quickly forgotten.

 

That's probably the end of his professional football career....unless he can pull a rabbit out of the hat .....or his dogs mouth

 

Doesn't seem to take his football career seriously at all.

Must be absolutely loaded - hence the money to burn on betting, too.

Absolutely rolling in cash, this lad, it's the only explanation.

Did you ever see his interviews? Good job he has two decent feet because it would have been a career of robbing grannies/cars etc. It still might......

Having read the stories on his escapades and stood behind his dad and family at Hartlepool away that season he was here.... i can see why he likes Fleetwood, his lot look like they could be the rulers of that town,

 

It is only until the end of this season. Suggests they think he plays well enough but they don't want to get tied into a long contract based on his past history.

 

Really? Wow. He must be desperate to take a 5 month deal...unless Hudds were going to sack him anyway

One wonders at Mellon Snr's judge of character if he thinks Harratt is a bright lad.

Yes I think he has, dedication to off field activities rather than playing football.
On the other hand the Goalkeeper for Oldham Tom Donaghy was Bradford City academy goalkeeper year ahead of Bobby Pointon.
City let him go at the end of his scholarship.Fleetwood Town picked him up ( not sure if he is still with them) loaned out to a number of clubs including Farsley Celtic and Fleetwood's sister club in Ireland he’s at least still dedicated and working at having a career in football.
