Primarily RWB these days, but can cover LWB too.

 

Good signing, was in the best defence in L2 last year. Alexander adopting Fergies philosophy and building from the back first.

 

It will be interesting to see how Alexander sees him fitting into the side. He is naturally right footed by did play LWB for Wimbledon near the end of last season and in the play offs. A good option to have in the squad if he can cover both sides.

I'd imagine we had quite a bit of competition for him as everyone is looking for a wing backs who can score and doing well in the play offs always gets you noticed more.

 

He’s a right wing back who played every league game for Wimbledon last season.

what does this mean for Brad Halliday?

 

Looks a top signing on paper, seeing a 3 year deal just gives me shudders still.

Halliday phased out? Building from the back, fingers crossed we start looking at the top of the pitch soon too!

 

Have we offered more money or don't AFC Wimbledon think he is good enough for L1?

 

Wimbledon are largely fan owned. They had the 14th biggest budget in League 2 last season.
We'll have offered more.

 

Prediction: we try to replace Halliday again, but Halliday finishes the season in the team.

Again.

 

Good age at 24. He's played 170 games already so decent experience too.

 

That's good going for them with that sort of budget. Seem to have spent well at the back last season. Looks like we are looking to do the same.

 

A bit like Wayne Jacobs. I hope Halliday can kick on again. Oyegoke & Benn weren't getting the better of him.

 

I think he starts before Halliday.

 

Defensively they were excellent. They were so determined to keep the ball out of the net. It was very noticeable in the play-offs. Lewis the CB was very affective.

 

RWB wasn't high on the priority list, but I've always been impressed with this lad whenever I've seen him play.

 

Feared the worst when Curtis Tilt rocked up but think our recruitment is coming along nicely now, especially if we can get that CB from Millwall. Good reviews here from Wimbledon fans, sounds like he has everything you’d want from a wingback:

 

Oh I fully think its a good signing. Just seeing "3 year deal" after Smith, Oliver, Oduor etc gives me PTSD.
