Sorry for him. Don’t think we’ll see him play for us again, and unfortunately I think it’s a lower league career for him, if that. Mentally this must be very tough.

Blimey. Did this happen at training? In the pre season games he had shown a lot more ‘intent’. Really so very very difficult for him and City! I guess they will have to reconsider what is left of the transfer budget.

Could be good news and silver lining. Insurance might pay wages of Riley now.
Put in percepective Fordy mate. Hundreds of people from Yemen. Pakistan and Afghanistan and Congo risking life and limb in Channel for a better life in UK. JR will come back. Only a young lad.

Yep. According to the T&A article he did it in training. Nobody near him, sounds like he slipped and twisted his knee.

Hope for a speedy recovery for the lad. I like his attitude of wanting to be around the team and helping out at the club whilst he's recovering.

    Poor lad.

Seemed like he was really fighting this season and could have really got a chance.

Good luck to him in his recovery.

May force us to get an extra defender in.

Don’t care what anyone says, you can’t deny we rarely had injuries under the tenure of PP. He knew how important it was to have correct warm ups/warm downs and insisted on a good physio and conditioner on the books. He was streets ahead when it came to sports science, something which has cost us dear over the past few years!

I’m sure people will chuck some names in of bad injuries while PP was here.

    I’ll start with Luke Oliver

Agreed. This had nothing to do with warm ups/downs. Pure bad luck for the lad.
