(Sorry as just posted this on the back of an ongoing chain by mistake)

I really believe it is such a key January in mapping out what the future holds for the club - we finally have green shoots sprouting in all directions but the next 4/5 weeks could either cement this or throw a lot of doubts back into the mix.

The last few windows have been a bit of a disaster so we have to get this one right. There is passion and unity back in both the team and the fans (and some style on the pitch) but in an ideal world and in my opinion we need to 1) keep the 4 loanees (or as many as possible) 2) improve the squad in key areas (either with signings or loanees) 3) move on some of the squad players to free up spaces and finances 4) ideally get more updates from Rupp and Rhodes on plans for the club in the longer term and 5) a new year half season ticket offer to try and re-capture some of the fans who were so disillusioned by ER's rule of the club.

We are still in a precarious position and we do need to recognise this, but I guess most of you are like me in that in early November I just could not see the fresh hope we now have at the club and the past few weeks results. I feel so enthused about what is currently happening but that in itself is a reason to be so anxious that we seize the moment.

And finally to the posters who were slagging off DH just a few weeks ago (you know who you are), time for you to give the man the credit he has received from the vast majority on this site as most could see the massive restraints and negative impact Rahic had inflicted on the club and that he was working so hard to repair - but you lumped him in as another thing that needed to go. He deserves all the support he can get for what he has done and I really hope he is with us for a considerable time as this will mean he has continued to take the club forward - so thank you David and your team for sticking with us when more fragile personalities might have said enough is enough.

New Year wish - to hear DH name being sung by the fans, that we (as well as the Club) dont tolerate the few idiots who currently tarnishing our football club and to see the happy faces and great support of true City fans throughout 2019. Happy New Year to you all :)

David Hopkin's Bradford Army was ringing out at the end of the game yesterday, and rightly so.

Sadly, that’s the nature of our fans. I recall reading recently, a comment from Lewis O’Brien, that suggested he had heard negative comments from our fans, before our run started.

How anyone could doubt that lad, is beyond me as his talent stood out even in those dark days. Yet, according to O’Brien, some did

There's a minority in every club that have the capacity to embarrass, it's not just City.
