Interestingly he's another left footed attacking midfielder, the question is, how many more left footed AM's do we need? Pointon, Wright, Sibley...

Based on his Crewe and Mk Dons stints looks like he played more advanced than CM on occasion. A few have said he is lightweight so can he fill in the Metcalfe role?

Took Metcalfe months to get up to speed in L1. White already has an underwhelming spell at Orient which puts me off a bit. That said we have Sibley who is surely the obvious choice to fill in at CM when required.

 

I think it took Metcalfe months because he was being rotated with Leigh and Pattison. Had he been a regular starter he'd have got to where he is now much quicker. I think I read quotes from him that he was disappointed with the number of starts, so the lad obviously had belief in his own ability.

 

Cardiff have been hit with a transfer embargo by the EFL for non submittal of their 24/25 accounts by the 31st December deadline. Probably just an oversight that will be resolved pretty quickly but until it is, they can't make any signings this window.
