We’ve already spent it on the players already signed. Plus he’s probably playing the budget down so that we don’t have agents thinking we’ve got loads to spend.

Is Crichlow left footed? Can’t remember.

If the case, at least we have moved quickly to cover his absence. We know Chrichlow and hopefully he can recover some form, and if not no great loss.

I was hoping we'd sign another Centre Back. Quite liked Crichlow when he was here, and its permanent which is good. Feels a bit 'lazy' in some respects, going back for an old loanee, but tbf he's the right profile and positon.

If we can land a top striker, we'll get top 3.

He’s not. Hasn’t made the squad for weeks.

I don't mind the Crichlow signing, especially on a permanent. Definitely got some improving to do but he'll help cover a weak area for us and fits the system we play.

If only we'd have worked it out earlier.

I thought he was , but just looked him up
Did not know his mother was killed in an attack in Barbados in 2019

He’s cover for Kelly, not a replacement for Byrne I’d suggest.

Seems that way from the T&A. Club told them that we made the approach yesterday after the Kelly news. Sounds like he might be out for longer than firs thought?

Alexander thinks it can work, I don't agree with him, but it's what he signed Wright to do, he doesn't do wingers.

Are you not a fan of Byrne? I don't recall you having said that previously ;)

Before we get carried away, Crichlow has been rubbish since he last played for us. He might not be the same player

Baldwin was Platts replacement , Byrne came in as back up didnt he? Platt went for more money after turning down two improved offers,
Why is that a surprise , honestly?

I've said before and at the risk of repeating myself Monkey should be on the club staff.

That was suggested on Saturday….So yes, groin or hamstring. That’s where he was holding.

Pleased to see the return of Romoney. Always liked him when he was here previously, and good to see it is a permanent signing with an option to extend the contract in the summer. Good strategy by the club.

He didn't get much of a chance at Peterborough and seemingly did ok at Dagenham. Agree with the above regarding it being a lazy signing, but if he can get up to speed quickly, he'll do ok here.
