I agree but at the moment he's employed by the club as a first team squad member and as such I put him in the list.

Normal rules just don't apply to footballers contracts. I remember that from when BFG tried to rip them up in 2002 and the PFA wouldn't allow it.

Only in the very loosest sense of the words "employed" and "first team squad". Other than that, I agree

First couple of games I thought we'd signed a decent player. He looked sharp and made an impact. Shame really because the lad obviously has talent but because of injuries he looks like he'll never reach the potential he showed as a kid.

The idea of not honouring the football debts came up again during the first administration. The prospective purchaser of the Club was advised that if the Club went down that route, then the price to pay would be to be placed in the Conference (effectively relegating the Club three divisions). Given that we went on to get relegated twice, suffered years of struggle and also lost the ground, hindsight may suggest we should have gone down that route.

I'm guessing the lad doesn't ask to be injured, feel for him. Won't be the first player not to fulfill his potential due to injury.

Just noticed Longridge played for Livingston tonight. Left side of a back three. They won 2-0 at Aberdeen.

Yes, totally agree. The real genius of this is, that ( I am assuming) Lee Turnbull found clubs for BRE, DMH, French et al through his contacts, so they're all looking at more regular playing time and opportunities to rebuild their careers. Everyone wins. Can't believe how professional we've been in this January window with the ins and outs.

Ulysses, you're someone who works in business. Does it p*** you off, as much as it does me, when posters on here utterly slag off and denigrate young players, knowing they're probably reading this for themselves on social media? OK, they may not be the best. They're generally young kids trying to find a career in football, trying to find their level. Can you imagine turning up for work every morning, and people who don't even know you and your situation telling you again and again you're shit at your job? This kind of online abuse does nothing but destroy the fragile confidence of young players just trying to find their way - as it would anyone in a job generally. I've got four kids in their early twenties and teens. If people slagged them off in the way they have DMH and Tyler French, I would be bloody heartbroken. Let's cut it some slack.

Wrexham manager won't be happy with Tyler French after he was sent off on his debut in their 1-1 draw last night.

He deserves a lot of credit, getting the Josh King deal through in time for Everton was fantastic, as was convincing Messi to stay at Barca, all while negotiating the UK's vaccine contracts and roll-out plans. What a man!

Well, given that people said he had the potential to be a £100m player, he's definitely never going to fulfil that.

But even so, you'd think he'd be at least Championship level with those kinds of assessments being made, and he's not going to hit those heights either.

I don't know what's next for him, but I can't see a queue of teams wanting to take a lad who can't stay fit for love nor money.

Don't forget the way he put the EU down over their vaccine revolt. Master stroke. I'm also guessing, he's the real brains behind that feeding the five thousand stunt the boy Jesus pulled off a few years ago.

You are not in the same league as Fordy for sarcasm and wind-up's, all your posts are very strange and pointless. Why do even bother posting?. Ah of course, to take some kind of pleasure in seeing the likes of me taking the bait, weird

Interestingly Ryan Sparks was saying in the T&A this morning that the loans this window could go on to be permanent signings

Ryan needs to shut up with comments like this and understand his role.

Somethings need to be kept in house. A CEO playing football manager is off putting. It's real. He isn't playing a computer game. Leave comments like that to the manager or recruitment manager.

Got a lot to learn already but hey he is 29 did you know.

However, I praise him for the direction and improvement we have made so far but Rhodes was useless, so the small changes were not hard to make.

Now, I said I was neutral about Mr Sparks, which for the record I am. Its about results both and off the pitch. He's definitely going in the right direction but I'm a taker of this article. I've talked about a rebuild over the last few days (which will take time), to which he highlights in team building and character.

However, I like, no I really like, the connection drawn between club and fans. Undoubted apathy /frustration /annoyance occurred, whatever you personally think between the club and fans in 2020 as we nosedived in the league with limited communication from the hierarchy. This is a further reconnect to fans, painting positive thinking IMO, so WELL DONE Mr Sparks. A rebuild with fans was needed, continues to be needed.

    Good, solid communication.

Rhodes was criticised for not speaking, Sparks for speaking. Can’t win in your eyes can he?
