    He's injured at present. Not expected back until after the transfer window closes and everything I've read on him strongly suggests he is very much in Lee Johnson's plans

    Yes strange I was looking af Sunderland match day squads and hes been in their this season, I believe him and Parky didnt get on but hes 4 starts from 9 games, I think it only rumour.

    I wonder how signing on fees work? That must be included as would be just another way to get around the cap. Bonuses it depends, as not guaranteed unless its like get 100k if play 5 games etc

    Yep, sign on fees are included, anything that goes to the player really. Transfer fees don't and that might be one way clubs look to work with the salary cap with transfer fees coming back in more for those with 6/12 months left in their contract.
