OK then, if it will make you happy.....
3rd kit - not out yet, not that fussed about talking about it until it is (and even then I'm not sure there's much to say other than I like it or I don't).
New signings - Watt (young lad who comes to us highly regarded. Let's hope we can develop his potential and turn him into a cracking little player for us).
Sutton (bit confused where he fits in at the moment, it's been said he can play RB and CM but he doesn't appear to be first choice for either. Has a 4 match ban outstanding so will be a while before we are able to see what he has to offer and where he's going to be utilised).
Cooke (pleased we've got him back, just hope Stuart plays to his strengths and uses him in a more attacking role).
Clarke (I like Billy and he seems to have a real desire to be here, but that could just be down to the fact we are the nearest league club to his home so it's very convenient for him. I feel his best day's are behind him and I'm not sure he'll feature for us much other than as a sub now and again. Feels like a bit of a favour for a mate signing at the moment but hope I'm proved wrong and it proves to be a useful signing).
DMH (cheap and can be used as a club developed player in the match day squad).
O'Donnell (Not sure there would be many better options at this level, hope he has a good season).

Pre season games - first one due to take place tomorrow I believe against Donny. Not much more to say about it until it happens really.

    Hope that helps.

Or have we topped it up at 2 years @ £1.7K per week (£176.8K) to get shut....?

I’d imagine he’s on 2 or 2.5 at Tranmere? And we’ve topped up the rest? I mean who knows

And if some money was paid to him to go, then it'll count in City's "cap"

Agree with what you say, up until the last sentence. As far as I can see Tranmere have not been involved in a mutual agreement with City. City and Vaughan, and separately Tranmere and Vaughan may have had an agreement, but I have not seen anything to say that City have entered into negotiations/agreement with Tranmere.

That's not correct. Under the new salary cap, payments to players to end their contracts are excluded from the new cap. Although it's clear that such severance or redundancy payments affect the club financially, they have no bearing on the salary cap itself. That's why I suspect the arrangements were structured in the way they were since it works to the benefit of all three parties.

I didn't mean I was glad he'd gone, I too think he could have got 20+ goals this season but only if his head was in the right place and he wanted to be here.

You mentioned that you find it unfathomable that Vaughan has signed for Tranmere on £1.3k p/w.

Utterly despicable if we have. If he wanted to move then he should have done in a reduced salary if Tranmere couldn't afford.

I'm hopeful both sides simply ripped up the contract and that was that.

You got pelters for changing your stance to fit your narrative. You had more stances than Nick Kitchen has clubs.

My stance was, Doyle was absolutely pants for Bradford City. I wasn't interested how well he was doing elsewhere, and only once did I change my opinion from 'did not want him back' to 'we have to bring him back' given he was firing a rival to promotion.

At no point did I expect him to do well for us, and, as predicted, when he returned briefly he looked equally awful.

I was absolutely spot on, too!

I still think Vaughan or Tranmere had to pay us a small sum to release him from his contract. ;)
