    So this player that @Bronco@Bronco and others raved about is a non league player now?

    To be honest though I think he is chasing the money now. He is better than non league.

    This is the first sign for me how the so called salary cap will have problems but he did work under the Notts boss at Wimbledon.

    Notts County could be better than us soon.

    You mean the player Jake Reeves who both Bronco and @Offcomedun@Offcomedun bet you £10 each that he would be in the starting 11 before Christmas, and you told us all he would not start after having nearly 2 years out injured, I'll ask you the same question as @Offcomedun@Offcomedun asked the other day which you obviously don't want to answer, where is the proof you paid the bets. you really do shoot yourself in the foot trying to be clever.

    Best of look to him, for whatever reason he was out for the majority of time for us but hopefully he can pick his career back up. I like Notts County as well, hope he can help them get back into the football league.

    I would imagine even without it being formally in place in non-league that it will be taken into account. Look at Salford for example, they could have massively over spent in non-league to a point where they were would been in breach of the salary restrictions when promoted but they operated with the League 2 restrictions in mind. You might see non-league spending big on a player they deem a key one but I'm sure most will make sure they aren't going to get screwed over if they get promoted so won't have a team of highly paid league 2 level players

    He had a groin injury that lasted an incredible around two years ( nearly the length of his contract) and only became fit to play just before he left when his contract was up, He seemed to recover his fitness to play for others after he left, Not your normal injury case, 46 games in 3 years for City, 41 games for Notts County in one season at National League level

    Clearly it wasn't. Don't get how people can't see that. The biggest question was he going to run down his contract without playing or put himself in the shop window.

    He was never staying here.
