I've just told you to go look at what you replied to me when I tagged you about Payne being linked with Birmingham and you played up about me bringing up old threads, which I didn't. Do you want me to wipe your backside too? You have the ability to search too mate, I wanted to talk football even after you tagged me with crap but you're more interested in bickering aren't you, evidently.

 

I'd be amazed if Jack Payne wasn't earning more than McCarten. and quite rightly. he's a lot better.

 

Payne is definitely a lot better player but given we paid a decent fee for McCartan and fact that Edin was handing out big contracts to poor players it wouldn't surprise me at all if they weren't very much on a par.

 

fair point actually, I had negated the Edin Rahic distorting players wages factor.

 

Wouldn't have a clue how much Payne's going to be earning at Lincoln. I can't see him choosing to go there if clubs from the Championship were in for him. It leaves me with the impression that although he (sometimes) looked decent in a very poor City side last season, League One is ultimately his level.
