    Its a well known fact that players we used to think were good turn crap when they leave.

    Did we increase the size of our pitch when we were in the premiership?

    Jack Payne wouldn't hack league two but in the Championship he'd do well? What sort of logic is that...

    Think you're being a little unfair mate, Bowyer came in with two objectives for me, one to get as many points as he could hoping the return might/would keep us up.
    And to give players who will still be contracted to the club this season a run to see what they offered, and not forgetting with so many loanees it was very much a juggling act for Bowyer.

    I agree but his main aim was to stay up you would think he would want to play his strongest team. Look I think Payne is a decent player and will probably be better in a league where more football is played. He was very poor after Christmas and didn’t appear to be up for the battle. Of the two I would much prefer Butterfield back

    Just for clarity and a little bit of proof you are talking nonsense;

    Not quite sure where I said what you posted but feel free to post it if I did. I might not hold my breath though.

    ''Who knows, maybe the wage demands would be similar''
    My whole point originally was I would take Shay over Jack purely because of wage demands, that was the post you quoted...

    Which bit of "who knows" translates as "definitely is"?

    You're a strange one.

    Any chance of providing some evidence that I claimed McCartan would be on the same dough as Payne?

    I think what I wrote is that at that moment in time, Shay had a decent contract given to him by Edin and that after his 2nd half of the season, Payne needed to secure a deal and was shortly out of contract.

    Care to disagree?

    Yes, but the one he can't 'hack' is two divisions lower than the one you'd think he'd do well in. thats a complete contradiction.

    In the same way that Messi wouldn't cope in League two, too lightweight more bobbly pitches than smooth ones, defenders that would boot you into the stands rather than stand off you, but would boss the Championship because its the opposite of all that. Just an opinion.

    I dont think Messi would cope in League Two. Imagine going from Xavi, Iniesta, Neymar, Suarez to Gibson, Akpan, Patrick and McCartan.

    The guy would be fed up after 1 game and go into a mental breakdown.
