You could watch it on a bit of a delay by pausing the stream and watching it as live about 10min behind if you have crap internet as it would just buffer and run at a regular speed I would have thought.

 

Once you've got the video feed running go into settings (the little cog, bottom right corner) and change the quality to a lower number. This will make your picture less sharp and defined but it should buffer less often.

 

Isn't there a bar near you with free wifi have a few beers and partake in their faster internet speed ?.

 

Thanks for the advice everyone. Much as I love City Bronco, I'd feel a bit sad sat on my laptop in a bar....not that there are that many here

 

Are you sure it was ifollow? For much of the match City's play felt like it was constantly buffering .

I think more and more are getting blocked these days. The technology to detect VPNs is clearly improving.

 

Took some sorting but ifollow were very helpful in sorting it out

I had Radio L**ds commentary without a problem - apart from it not starting up until kick off. I emailed them on Saturday about 15 mins before kick off that I wasn't able to hear the pre-match build up and it was immediately switched on. They do this every year, almost as if they're trying to see if they can get away with it. Drives me nuts.
If you're not getting the right commentary try clicking on the settings 'cog' in the corner and changing from 'away' to 'home' depending on where we are. If that works, presumably your ifollow subscription doesn't 'know' you're a City fan - you should declare your allegiance then it will give you the right feed automatically.
If you happen to watching on an IPTV stream (and I make no judgements here), I believe they offer 2 broadcasts for each match: 1 with home commentary and the other with the away coverage.
