Who in their right mind paid for I-follow for the cup games when they were on the i-player ?

I think the revenue was for league games home and away.

Quicker we can get back to the ground the better. A steady flow of socially distanced home support + iFollow revenue is better than just the iFollow revenue alone.

I think we get 70% of proceeds from iFollow right ?

After broadcast fees at 30% and VAT, the home club gets all the revenue plus the first 500 sold by the away club.

£8.34 per sale for home fans and first 500 away fans.
For away games we get same after the first 500

Apparently it is £8.34 per £10 ticket according to T&A so broadcast fees must be getting covered by advertising

No, the club loses money letting you into the ground. The iFollow numbers don't include season tickets sales where the clubs get to keep 100% I believe (or certainly more than normal iFollow sales). It's why its generally been the away games getting the most sales because for the home games most people have ST access. Now as the only people who will be allowed into the ground are season ticket holders letting people into the ground generates nothing extra but incurs costs. It's unlikely you will even recoup much from refreshments and the likes as they are likely to be very limited on what they sell. Having fans in the ground doesn't benefit any club until the allowed attendances exceed the season ticket sales so you can start to sell additional tickets to people who haven't already paid.

The only real benefit to having fans is it may give the home side a benefit of having some crowd spurring them on and putting pressure on the opponents
