I think some think that parachute money guarantees at least high end championship football for years to come, but it doesn’t work that way. Stoke and Middlesbrough are down there as well, plus you’ve seen the likes of Sunderland, Wolves, Leeds and Southampton do it in the past.

Over paid failures are still failures, as we found out last season with crap like Akpan. Momentum is huge in all sport, and theirs is the wrong kind.

Sad thing is if we’d have had are shit together these last couple of years we could be looking at been above them, which looked impossible in 2017. As it is we continue to fail ourselves.
