Biggest area of concern now by a country mile - reading todays article in the T&A it is hard to believe Charlie is going to stick with us and without him we are totally barren of goals. If he goes we DEF need 2 good strikers in before the season starts and this will be the biggest challenge for our 'recruitment team'

 

Very pleased with that. Looks like a direct upgrade on Dieng. We were a bit soft centred last year so its good to add some strength and presence in there.

If we can add some quality in the final third and get a quick solution to the Wyke issue then I think the squad is looking strong.

 

Simon - agree we need two decent strikers - City will be scouring the German leagues as we post i expect.

Last summer every player coming in looked weaker than who they'd replaced.

Leave all the rumour/truth about what's going on behind the scenes - 90% of it is about building a quality group of players. That's it in a nutshell and when push comes to shove it's what fans really care about.

This summer looks the opposite. O'Donnell looks better than Doyle, Wright is certainly no worse than Law, Akpan better than Dieng or Vincelot, I'm hoping Seedorf will add more than Gillead and I'd much rather have Riley than McMahon.

More of the same please. 2-3 similar standard additions and getting a couple out will set us up well.

Need a backup keeper too.

 

Striker and a winger for me. We only have one on our books and that's a completely untested young lad in Seedorf. I'd like to see us add a wide man who's had a couple of good season's at this level.

Noticeable that he played more in the second half of the season where he had a good impact and scored in the last two games which helped them survive.

 

I'm bloody out of touch with the game as know little about him.

Defensive midfielder it seems with shed loads of championship football? Judging by the reaction on here, seems a good player?

Somebody care to fill in what I can expect from this lad.
