Brilliant win for Blackpool today, clearly improving as the season progresses due to top quality coaching. Whereas we are going the other way.

 

What was Adams doing at the end the game? Fronting up to the booing fans or acknowledging the support? Seemed a fine line

I think battered them is stretching more than a little. We had the two better chances, but never had one sustained period of pressure or great deal possession even.

Today was two very poor teams in a poor game.

 

Or looking at in another way, two decent enough teams (for this level) largely cancelling each other out.

 

The cross should have been dealt with by the keeper who stayed on his line, The goal is mainly down to ROD because had he come then Robinson would not be in the position he was trying to defend a ball that should not be allowed to get to him

 

I'll have to have another watch of the video, it was certainly a bad time to concede, you'd have thought they had won the league.

 

You are both right and wrong, In professional football the first mistake is the one that counts, Robinson should have better marked the scorer but had the keeper dealt with it the ball would not have reached him to defend, It was at a keepers height and in the keepers domain the six yard box and his to deal with,As has happened many times before he stayed on his line and was at fault

 

Cook won't be if he keeps playing him on his own

Indeed the honeymoon is over, and the day-to-day grind has begun. Adjustments will have to be made, some of the old friends, er, players, will have to be dropped for new ones better suited to the marriage, other differences of opinion will have to be settled...

But for all the gloominess at the moment, 3 points from the next two matches will make the first 10-match segment decent, 6 points, very good.
