Pre-season I predicted that Adams would be gone by February. I stand by that.

As I posted I was commenting on what another fan said it wasn't the best view, as it was a last minute corner there was 19/20 players in the box.
Looking at the video clip it was poor defending, I didn't use the excuse of being tired, it was last chance saloon Salford went for it we didn't defend it as well as we should, not the end of the world although it felt like that at the final whistle.
And Adams didn't make us feel any better by applauding us fans, as I said Sutton on for fresh legs made sense with Robinson on the last 10 minutes to play along side Cook who had run his socks off as our lone striker.

 

Its quite funny as the lad who made the comment about Robinson pulled me for saying Cook should have buried that header he said it was Vernam, I said no suprise there then.
The guys sat around said your right mate it was Cook, he then appologised accepting it wasn't Vernam.
I'm a big lad mate I know it wasn't a dig at me.
Just to add we were about 15 ft from where Morris took a corner first half so as he came across I shouted "see you made the big time Josh Salford City" to which he turned round with a sly grin on his face, maybe he'd have taken Fordys bait but he wasn't taking mine .

Yeah exactly sack them all boo every touch from now on in we've had 8 games and we haven't won the champions league yet f off all the players, the board and Sparks too had enough of the lot of em.

I like what Adams says in the press but so far he’s not immune from criticism. I think he will do well and there is no way on earth I am asking for him to be replaced but he has to come under the same scrutiny as others. If this was McCall we’d be 30 pages into this thread by now.

1) not playing the likes of Staunton and Sikora. Now I don’t think they are good enough probably to rely on all season but from what we’ve seen briefly there is no way on this earth that they are any worse than what we have had in the last few weeks certainly.

2) blundering on with this tactic when we only have Cook to choose from. Surely play similar to when we had angol available and give someone else a go if it doesn’t work? We have a fair few shots in the home games but quality of chances created I would say remains low. We do miss Angol but one player can’t make our whole attack fall apart surely? Change it up a bit

3) he signed up to this club and if he didn’t do his own due diligence then he is extremely naive for a man who’s been in the game as long as he has. Now the club could give back word on certain things but surely he knew the budget? Surely he knew that Turnbull was here? Something has happened here and I don’t blame him if the budgets been cut but it’s a bit of a grey area at the minute.

4) publicly slating players we still have at the club for another 3/4 months. Hopkin went down this route and it fell apart whenever we lost a player to injury. It doesn’t work at this level and not any more we have transfer windows. You can’t alienate 40% of your playing squad because they are not doing what you want. Save all that for behind closed doors and not in the media. We will now likely need to replace 8 players who he doesn’t seem to like. All the youngsters are now cast offs. It’s a dangerous game. I appreciate his honesty and he’s strong willed but will it work? We have alot of games between now and the window opening. Why not just leave it and replace them when he could?


however a couple of things I would be questioning and forgive me i haven’t researched his previous roles but why not any coaching staff with him? We are where we were for the last 2 years and I think this is a Rhodes trick and Sparks has been taught by Rhodes, save money on an expensive bakc room team for the playing budget?

Have we promised him his own recruitment team but said it costs money so that’s one or two less players?

Sparks doesn’t come out of the last 12 months with much praise from me if I’m honest. What have we done to move the club forward but paint the inside of the ground and change a few seats?
Every person he has appointed has not lasted 12 months, isn’t that costing the club money? Any plans we made have now been ripped up and we need to start all over again should Adams leave.
Our fitness department hasn’t changed anything either. We have more injuries than I can remember.
