Of the last five games we haven’t won 3 were cup ties and one of the games was a reserve team in the EFL cup. @Fordy117 described the cup ties as Micky mouse competition including the FA cup and we should be knocked out ASAP. Now we are out he’s using these games as a stick to beat Bowyer with. Incidentally in the Mickey Mouse FA cup our dear neighbours from Elland road are about to pocket £1 million from their Mickey Mouse tie at Arsenal.

 

Been having a browse on the exiles forum. On the prediction thread no one is going for County a win. Lets hope they are correct. Also does sound like a weakened team.

 

I said the Leasing Cup was Micky mouse and it is. I said the FA Cup was a no lose game because all our efforts should be concentrating on going up this season. The draw in the FA Cup was a poor one at first but we should of had enough to beat them at home. Leeds would rather go up than 1m.

Look, the stats will show 5 games without a win. If you want to take games out of it to suit you then fine but the club won't be and records. Even if you want to class it as league games it still 2 without a win and we need to win on Saturday.

 

Many teams who get promoted this season will go two games without a win.

Did you go to the Plymouth game CL? Just wondering cos if you did, you might not have had the same opinion at half time

 

Ok, for me i fully understand what the club went through last season. Collins, Hopkin and and Drury as managers is enough to think what on earth is going on at this club. Not because of 3 managers but 3 utter rubbish managers.

However, just like your post and the club in general it's full of excuses and a sorry tale. Let's give Mr Rupp time because of Edin. Lets give Rhodes time because of Edin. Lets give Bowyer time because of Hopkin.

Sorry but we need to stop with Charity approach! We need to move forward to try to forget about the past.

Bowyer has to prove himself here and he hasn't as yet. Looking at the fixtures coming up I see no reason to set KPI's and goals in place which should be top 3 by the end of the year. We then look to kick on! It goes without saying if we go into Jan top 3 then IF we are looking to get players in we can talk to them about league 1 aims etc.

If we are mid table going into the New Year I believe Bowyer will need to go because he won't be the man to take the club forward. At some point the club will need to think is he really the man to get us back into league 1?

I honestly do think we will make the automatic places but it all depends on this month.

It's a big month for the club!

 

If you think we will make the auto's, why are you constantly questioning Bowyer? You are surely contradicting yourself?

 

I've believe we will.

If we sacked Bowyer tomorrow I still believe we will make the auto's.

My belief is because the league is so weak and I think our squad is better than most. My frustration is because Bowyer is making hard work of this and our football has been extremely poor.

That's a how your walk of shame victims feel after they realise what has happened.

 

Really hoping for a win tomorrow. It's going to be a very difficult occasion for me whatever the score. My dad who introduced me to city over 30 years ago died on Sunday.

He stopped going regularly a few years ago but we still talked city all the time. The thought of not being able to do that ever again is simply unbearable.

I know what you're going through and it's the toughest thing ever and I am only young.

If Bradford City win you might have a little cry but he will be looking down with happiness.

I feel for you Shell, my Dad has been gone a few years now but I still think of him every time I go to VP.
He first took me in the early1960's, and was still going into his eighties.
I remember he came to our house to watch City win at Wolves and sat there with tears rolling down his face with joy.
You will always have your Dad watching over you, god bless.

 

Sorry to hear that, must admit I keep thinking the same as my dad nears 80, 3 generations of us go home and away. You'll still have all those memories, whilst not the same I know...
