Theres a time and a place for his type of football. But it's certainly not at a club like sunderland at the top of league one.

 

It must have been dynamic stuff Jack Ross was playing to get him sacked, far from impressed with both games against Sunderland last season above average said as the season proved.

 

Agree, they were shocking. He was another negative manager which the fans up there wont tolerate without results.

 

When you say you’ve not seen any team that carries a constant threat you’re right, and we don’t either. It’s simply because we’re all 4th division trash, I think you and others are over hyping our team if you think we can just walk over everyone 3/4-0. Vaughan’s has more shots than Doyle and Yates at Swindon FYI, so Bowyer can’t be completely shackling him. Players need to take responsibility when on the pitch.

 

Difference is where Vaughan is shooting from and what kind of position. I don't see Vaughan as a Mo Salah.

Bowyer is one hell of of negative manager. He doesn't allow many players to get into the box and when you look at Swindon then have at least 4 players in the box when they score.

Yes, we're in div 2 but think with Bowyer is that he hasn't proved himself since he's been here.

 

Ha ha didn't last Saturday and see 4 midfielders with no wingers. Bowyer is one negative manager.

As for for Vaughan he missed! End of.. can't use that as examples.. sure Doyle and Yates, all forwards in football have missed a few chances this season,so stop talking bollocks as you do in most of your responses.

What evidence has Bowyer given to give you the impression of him being an attacking/positive manager? In regards to your earlier point. I don't expect us to be rolling teams over. However, I expect us to be on the front foot and play at a decent tempo to take it to opposition teams when we are clear favourites.

 

I'd say 90% do park the bus against us and are classed as negative but we make it easy to defend against by long balls and no urgency or tempo. Newport had no quality and seemed very sluggish at the back. If we would've moved the ball quickly on the deck and played with proper wingers and through the lines we would've walked all over them. Goals breed confidence and I think there is goals in this team if played to their strengths.

 

The overlapping point is a good one. Henley does it now and then but I've noticed wood is very reluctant to, clearly under instruction as his natural game is to attack. That's a bemusing one considering he's by far our best crosser of the ball.

Even under Parky, meredith and darby used to overlap the wingers.

 

But will you moan if it gets us out of this khaki league that's the important thing, I'll take it if it gets us up.

 

And if he doesn't?

 

It will keep the faith.

 

Well Wood has been our last line of defence on numerous occasions this season, and unlike last season, he's done an excellent job most games. Perhaps he has been so good defensively as Bowyer has instructed him to work specifically on his defensive abilities.

However, I would certainly encourage Wood to cross often, even from a deep position, as his delivery is excellent.

 

I meant will be still have faith in the manager!
