"Slippery" behave - but its nice to be remembered! A win for you - maybe but don't expect it will be comfortable. We have taken points off Salford & Cheltenham recently and should have won both.
However most of us think we're doomed and can thank Holloway for that. The biggest Charlatan in football. Good luck for the rest of the season obviously barring tomorrow.

 

Holloway has always been lots of mouth and trousers, no detail. Which is what you needed. Hurst's done a decent job with you so far. I hope you can stay up and get lots of points - but only after you've lost at VP.

Finished 1-1 at Field Mill, so table as it stands. An absolute must win game for both teams, so no bloody slow start out the traps.

I feel our season is over but you can but hope. Must win tomorrow, high tempo match please...

BTW, Newport have 5 from 7 remaining fixtures at home, with a few against top positions (beat Bolton 1-0 last week mind).

 

Cambridge v Exeter and Cheltenham v Orient tomorrow, after tonight's result looks like a big chance to close the gap.

 

Actually think the two teams that are catchable are more forest green & morecambe who are both out of form at the wrong times. Everyone mentioning Newport there’s defo more than 1 place to go for

 

Agreed, this is the match we have to win to remain in contention, for both the points and the team belief/ psychology. As said previously we should win this as long as we play to our strengths, keep the ball on the floor at the back, and keep going forward, stop them coming deep and the mid-field head tennis match, and also score a few. Tall order? Should n't be.

 

And Colchester may be turning things around!

 

Ended up 5-2 to Oldham. Gotta say on paper both teams have it all to play for tomorrow. Should be a good game.

Orient look a team in form at the moment. I think we certainly need at least 2 teams in the current play off positions to slip up.

 

Have to be looking at wins every game now, draws are no good. Ideally we could do with being in a playoff spot after the next 3 or 4 games.

 

Just looking at a couple of bets for today’s game and Bet 365 have got Donaldson at shorter odds than Cook for first goal scorer!!
They’ve also got Rumarn Burrell at the same odds as Cook for first goal.!!!

Just wanted to say, isn't it nice to have a match to look forward to for the first period of time in several years?

Whether we end up winning or not it's so much nicer to wake up looking forward to the match rather than dreading how badly we'll play and potentially lose by.

 

Can't see the lad starting, T&S can talk our league position down but they know the fans want us to go for it, if we dont make it then at least we had a go, and if we did get a play off place it would look good on their CVs, from what looked like a relegation team to a possible play offs spot in just over 30 games.

 

Wouldn't do season tickets sales any harm either.
