If after today we're considering 3-5-2 how about this side when all are fit:
OD/Hornby
AOC, POC, Canavan
Evans, Sutton, Cooke, Watt, Wood
Cook, Rowe.
Evans at RWB because he's played there before and his crossing is better than any other option on the right. It also gets Cook and Rowe into the same side without compromising elsewhere.

We've struggled massively against teams near the bottom recently (whilst also winning nearly every game against the top half of the table, for whoever was claiming earlier that performance somehow means we'll struggle against top teams!?), I had us down to struggle to a draw today. I'm definitely taking an easy 3 points to close the gap to the play-offs by 2

We've been lucky the last few games - scoring from very few clear cut chances while our opponents have not.
We should be controlling the game more and looking to score again not sitting back. We didn't make the Grimsby keeper work at all really, nor the Stevenage keeper.

He should have headed it, he was in front of his marker but missed it. -

The problems I see are the lack of options in centre midfield which led to us over playing Sutton and Watt until they were knackered.
Then the plan of playing both Vernham and Crankshaw in the 3 behind Cook which left us way to open and started us off on that poor run, now the managers have gone right the other way - playing Evans/Clarke/Donaldson/Scales and the result is that it's turgid and we're getting lucky. They need to balance it more with Vernham or Crankshaw coming in to one of those forward three because we're creating next to nothing but fortunately scoring off what we do get - a bit like earlier in when worldies like Novak and Sutton were getting us wins. -

It's too hard to measure what a chance is for me but at least we could agree on actual shots or shots on target. With chances we'd argue forever! -
