We certainly agree there Dave. These subbings are far too late to make any difference, Gilly should have been off after 60 for starters.

 

Watt hasn’t been good for weeks. A nice goal against Walsall but apart from that very poor.

They are all testing especially at Valley Parade, great having 15,000 home fans but it can work in reverse, as we saw yesterday Barrow being the better team early doors.

I really felt for Cook yesterday he run and battled for the team and gets hooked for Robinson, I'd have preferred after Vernam equalised Adams would have gone with a strike partner with him for the last 30 minutes or so.

I'm not referring to any response about making chances. That was during his post match interview. The link you provided was a pre-match interview. It's his responses from as early as the first question. It sounds as though the job is getting to him.

 

I'm not sure the situation is getting at him it's part and parcel of the modern game, fans want to hear what the manager thinks/says after the game.
He needs to get some results then he won't be under pressure, and I believe he will, time will tell.

There is nothing wrong with my memory my friend, and I stand by my assessment of the first 5 home games.
I genuinely hope that you are correct and things will improve, but current performance of the players and poor tactical decisions lead me to suspect we are in for another season of frustration, after all the hype pre season from the club.
Nothing would please me more than to win our next 2 matches and get back on track.
I will continue to support the team you won’t hear me booing the team off and half time and applauding them back on for the second half.
But I call it as I see it

 

As do I, what a great game we watch where fans can see what's on offer and interpretation it differently, but then there would be no point of this forum if we all see things in the same light.
I think yesterday's booing was more in frustration than the performance, if not those who booed are in for a long hard season.
