Here is an easy concept. If you are in band A, and who you travel is in band B. Why not wait till band B tickets and buy them together. We are at band D and it's not sold out yet.

 

Because if that was to happen one person with over 1,060 points could buy out the entire away end.

 

I rang the ticket office this morning. Less than 100 tickets were left and they expected to sell out today. However, they think Hartlepool will make more available if we sell out the initial allocation.

Had a bit of a chat about the loyalty scheme. Ticket office staff sound pretty naffed off with it and wish we were back with the Priority Cards. They are feeding back lots of customer complaints to senior management. Don't be surprised if this is a one season wonder (with any luck).

They also said that season ticket holders have to attend home games and get their QR card read to get the points. This flies in the face of what happened with the Doncaster game, where ST holders were given the points whether they attended or not.

When the club finally sorted out the system the tickets sold out in seconds.

Firstly needing 950 points was on there till 9.15, then after that it didn't recognise you had a season ticket until 9.30. Then if you were lucky enough to be in the window who persisted with it for 30min you had about 1min to buy your tickets.

It really shouldn't be that hard.

 

If you read it in context you will see my mate is a fireman and if he was due to finish a shift at 1pm so he could go see a game, he can't just up an leave if there is one of the many mill fires that appear round Bradford. It wasn't difficult to see what I was saying.

 

You think that's a problem? Try being a mortgage broker and having to deal with useless tardy lenders who raise their rates every week like Gnat West.

 

At the start of the season if you buy a season ticket you should get 230 points . You should get 50 extra if you pay for a suite upgrade . If you pay game by game you get 10 Away games you should get 10/20 .cup games 10. They have over complicated it .

How long do these points last ? Do they lapse after 3 seasons ? What’s the script

 

You mean our neighbours at Elland Rd, whose entire stock of replica kit is currently languishing in a shipping container somewhere on the floor of the continental shelf ? That neighbour ?

 

I thought the points per away game rewarded those who travel most to away games.
The priority did allow you to pick and choose away games.
On balance the points per away games is the better option. It rewards those who actually make the effort to go to away games.

You do see the same groups, faces at away games, many make the most of it, fair amount of old city fans who have supported the club for many many years.
Can’t see how if you have upgraded to the lounge bar and or bought 3 extra pies per game would warrant extra credit towards away tickets. I think if you are a regular traveler to away games you should have an early option to receive tickets.

If you have a spare a season ticket holder who is not going must have bought a ticket. Thus getting the points and depriving someone who is going of their rightful loyalty points.
If there is another explanation I would like to see it.
