Exactly! I keep saying this because it is my biggest worry for next season that if GA is here, Smallwood will be as well and that only means one thing. A central midfield pairing of him and Gilliead again which hasn't worked this season or last season and won't work again next season.

 

Sunday league defending.... it's a bantam thing.

I don't trust a single person at this club to undertake any sort of rebuild effectively.

We're in serious trouble. Very real chance of us going down next season.

 

Problem is, I can't see how he's setting up the team to score goals.

Are we a team that gets the ball wide for crosses into the box? No.

Do we pass the ball through the thirds to get someone to run onto goal? No.

Are we playing the ball over the top for players to run onto? No.

What is his plan to create chances? I genuinely have no idea

 

Any manager who starts Ridehalgh at CH for 3 games running should be nowhere near a professional football club.

 

It’s on Rupp, then Sparks, then Alexander. In that order.

 

Not even pissed off with todays result as expected it. Sadly we are a rudderless ship hitting iceberg after iceberg. Not long before it sinks. ST sales are very low.

Season over in mid March. This isn’t the championship or league 1, it’s league 2 and a club of our size and expensive squad should at least take it to April. Harrogate have lost 10 games at home this season and we couldn’t lay a glove on them. If as a fan base we don’t come together and challenge those at the top, then we deserve everything we get. Doing nothing isn’t an option.

 

Everyone has a plan, even Rahic talked a good game off the pitch. How that plan is implemented determines the effectiveness of the first eleven on the pitch. Problem we've had is a CEO who had flitted between plan to plan while hiring and firing managers. The bloke is clueless.

I don't think anybody in the club is talking to each other, there's just nothing there .....

 

We hire a capable CEO. Preferably under a new owner.

Talk of changes at any level below that is akin to rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

 

So whose fault is it right now, given the magnificent support last summer to support a promotion campaign (cough cough), yet we find ourselves just about safe from relegation. And how will that change in the summer do you think if the same amount or near that amount actually renew their ST?

Please don't say we need better players to get out of this league as we have been saying that for the last six seasons and look where we are.

Maybe just maybe the ST sales are not the problem but who is spaffing the money away? That's what fans are very alarmed about. What makes you think we will suddenly become so much more prudent with our signings this transfer window?

 

Thank god for the spell McDonald had in charge. Without that, we'd be in a relegation scrap.
