Gordon Watson: relegation would be good

    On Radio Leeds last night Gordon Watson said it would be good for CIty to be relegated so that we could get rid of the dead wood. Does he have a point ?

    How does being relegated help us get rid of the deadwood?

    I very much doubt there are any contract clauses allowing us to terminate deals if we go down.

    Get rid of the deadwood! What 18-20 players?
    Most are under contract!

    Then we need replacements!

    What we need is a coach! A decent coach/manager and a coach/manager with a squad network! A coach/manager that that the players will look up too and gain respect. A coach/manager that gets them!

    what we actually need is an owner with cash willing to chuck in a hefty figure to allow us to move on the deadwood. the ability to get rid of players we don't want doesn't depend on the division we're in.

    What shall we do then have a manager a week till we get the right one. Bowyer has got good credentials and given time I think he would be a success

    So far he has been utterly shocking! I don't give a flying feck what he did at Blackpool or Blackburn.

    If I am looking at his CV of late he takes what I call 'NO LOSE JOBS' - takes a job at suffering clubs and if it goes wrong he can't lose! Not Bowyers fault!

    As for getting Blackpool promoted from Div 2 he had one of the best forward line ups Div 2 has seen in fact it should of been automatic promotion.

    He has 8 games to prove his worth here. So far not so good!
