good old days

Two of my colleagues at work - one whom supports Bolton and the other Sunderland - think there is far more play acting in League 1 compared to the Championship and the Premier League. I have to say there does appear to be a lot of feigning injury at our level and slowing the game down.

 

I think it was Accrington away a fair few years ago when I went and we won 2-0. Thorne double in the first half.

 

International week again, some lads near us left at 2-0 to go watch England

Get some drive and ambition in your life. Stop living in the past.

 

I definitely don't get the nostalgia for a return to watching City stood on a crumbling Kop, open to the elements, or indeed visiting some of the other run down grounds of the 70s watching 4th division football.

I prefer to see us somehow returning to the 2nd tier, and watching my football in modern stadiums.

Thats the reason I've never been tempted to go to Accrington Stanley to watch City.

Good old days?. Strange phrase. My dad goes on about the good old days, like when he was a kid and his family shared an outside loo with other neighbours on the street

 

I remember him doing that away at Macclesfield? Both goals scored very early.
