Going nowhere under GA, problem is I don't trust Sparks and Rupp to appoint a good enough replacement.

I work over the road from VP. I finish work at 7:30. I'll be walking straight past the ground and going home on Monday. Stuff 'em.

I don't blame you. I certainly won't be rushing home from work to attend at VP. it's been bad enough watching from the comfort of my sofa last 2 games

RE comparisons with the 2013 squad, the massive difference is the quality in the dugout. Under Parky we had a plan. You felt we could win ANY game - no exaggeration. After masterminding the downfall of higher ranked opposition, including several PL sides, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Villa in those Cup runs over two years. A one off result may have been a fluke but to do it repeatedly showed you that we had a plan and the players would run through brick walls to achieve it. We also had more ambition from the owners, who stretched the budget to try improve the squad.

while Hanson and Wells were class, and unearthed cheaply, Davo and Doyle cannot have been cheap.

you look at the current squad and its laughable, the drop off in quality, that stems from doing it on the cheap. Could this lot beat Villa 3-1 at VP at VP or go with a plan into that Arsenal game and take it to pens? We can’t even plan and execute five minutes into games against tinpot sides like Harrogate and Morecambe.

the whole club is a pathetic embarrassment.

let GA go if we fail to win at the weekend and let Sharpe make the next managerial decision - and get him identifying targets now ready to pull the trigger on GA.

Schumacher is eying up the Cardiff job isn’t he? Might be too big for us now.

But please, let’s stop tolerating mediocrity.

show us some investment, Rupp. GA’s time is up.

mK dons have let Williamson go to Carlisle and appointed Lindsey from Crawley. Why is it they can poach managers from a higher league yet you get the impression we’ve struggling to attract big names. Scraped barrel before during last recruitment campaign. I’ll tell you why - word has got out we’re tinpot off the pitch. We still need overhaul from the top, but Ruppy won’t invest.

dangle a huge promotion bonus to the prospective boss….god, just do something, City, absolutely sick of it.

Agree with everything you say here. Problem is that Rupp won't invest. His jam tomorrow promise at the end of last season shows this. The majority of fans bought this swindle. And for that blatant lie and papering over the cracks Rupp simply has to go. but nothing will change unless us fans do things to make the change happen.

I don't think boycotting games is the answer. What is the answer is protest. Put up visible signs in the ground and big ones.

If this form continues even the happy clappers will have to fall in line. The simple fact is this club is going nowhere and will not progress with the current owner. The last several years have proved that.

Sacking him wont make a difference. Just like sacking Bowyer, Macca, Adams, Hughes didnt make a difference.

Rupp aint losing money so he is fine, just waiting for the right buyer to pay his price. Sparks has a mediocrity mentality and his remit is dont go down and dont go bust. A slong as he hits those targets he will get a pat on the head and a biscuit.

GA is becoming problematic but the major problems go further up than the manager. Cut corners on recruitment and this is what you are left with.

PS Sharpe is a waste of money. He can go too.

Just don't understand why it has taken so long for so many to realise the issues? And before any of the happy clappers tell us non-attendees we are not true supporters, I would argue the opposite. We all care deeply about our club just carrying on attending accepting mediocrity makes you just as bad as Rupp and Sparks et al because it shows a lack of ambition. I am happy to support anything to help bring a change but that won't be putting banners up at games because I won't go anywhere near the inside of VP again until things change. Big banners are a start though for anyone willing to do that. We need another actual protest - but it MUST be peaceful. This really can't go on and it's time we ALL realised this

The thing is that a group actually made the effort to do something and where mocked for it thats how weak our fanbase is .............is much as i hate them barstewards from leeds i bet they wouldnt have tolerated this shit.

I mean if this aint the time to act then god knows when is ......... .the man has come out and lied again to con his way to season ticket money ........... investment was the word wasnt it and whats his investment got us .........a weaker squad than last season and a recruitment team that are atill at the helm despite fook up after fook up.

Honestly i will be amazed if i attend again this season i simply dont care.

Its time we all united and actually did something about this sham of a club or we wont have a club

Real supporters support the club when they are struggling due to injuries in key positions not just when they are winning. If we change managers again we are writing off the season just like Carlisle have done. No one has been promoted since changing managers for about ten years.

If Sparks pulls the trigger, and I don't think he will, I'd rather have Ryan Lowe instead of Simpson!

GA won't be sacked. Sacking him proves Sparks to be the failure he is and his position then becomes untenable especially when no one meaningful would be in place to take over.

As Sparks looks out over another sparce VP on Monday as people stay away, even though the crowd will be annouced as some rubbish like 16k it might dawn on him he isn't up to the job and he is just Edin Mk2.

I'd agree with all of that other than your comment on how the reality of the situation which he and his boss have created might suddenly dawn on Sparks. That hasn't occurred so far under his tenure despite past events and I see no sign of him suddenly having his own revelation on the road to Damascus. In my opinion, his own ego would never allow that to happen. I really do hope I'm wrong for the future of our club.

A perfect example of why our club stagnates.

Edin and Sparks are nothing alike IMO. Edin threw money at players on fees and wages in order to chase rainbows. If your face didn't fit you were gone. He interfeared on the playing side which is a big no-no.

Sparks is nothing like that. He is at the other end of the spectrum.
