Sorare Pro Game Week 72

Keep an eye on the weekly tasks. Last Man Tackle has market credit as a reward and I hadn't noticed I had unlocked it last night so you might unlock that without realising

 

How is everyone doing on Pick Your Target? For once I went for the lowest amount and at the moment I'm 43 points short. I have 2 players currently in matches and 1 that players at 1:30am. I should make it but glad I didn't go for a higher target

 

I'm now 12 short so as long as Santiago Simon gets on the pitch tonight I should do it (or if my striker can grab a goal)

 

Which is a big if as the MLS teams don't seem to take the CONCACAF version of the Champions League anywhere near as serious as European teams take UEFA's. They take more of an approach teams here take the League Cup where they are almost trying to get knocked out early on and don't take it seriously until around the Semis

 

Ok as I would still have 120 essence after crafting I also took the plunge and got thought I had got lucky when it was card number 48, being that low it couldn't be a European card. And sure enough it wasn't. However it was also a 17 year old who hasn't played a match.


When two of my earliest Limited card buys were 17 year old Dante Sealy and 16 Year old Darren Yapi in 2021 and they have only just broken into the their teams as starters this season I'm not holding out much hope of him being much use any time soon

 

With a combo of Opta downgrades and Simon not having an amazing game mine ended up being a bit close for comfort but unless someone else gets an Opta downgrade ive made it

 

On the new Common/Free game. While there are aspects I'm not liking about it I do like the fact that these common cards can be used in the Daily Task game. Gives you way more options to be able to win the XP each day

 

Oh and this new Arena competition sounds interesting too.

For anyone who hasn't read ii, it's operating in Limited and Rare across 2 Game weeks. It costs 10 essence to enter a lineup and that lineup gets put into an Arena of you and 9 others. The top 5 lineups win Essence and XP. It has the following entry rules

• You unlock team slots using 10 Essence per lineup. Once a lineup is submitted, the Essence is used and can’t be recovered—but you can still edit your team until the Game Week locks.
  
• You can enter up to 7 lineups per Game Week
  
• You can use cards from any season
  
• It’s All-Star coverage — use cards from any league covered by Sorare.
  
• Each lineup must fit under a 260 Cap
  
• Only a 20% captain bonuses apply: No XP, no collection bonuses, no scarcity bonuses

Also each GW 50 Limited and 20 rare Arenas get selected as Golden Arenas and in that rather than 50 essence for coming first you get 200.

It also seems to imply you win Limited and Rare Essence no matter of you enter Limited or Rare. It may just be badly written but if you get both then that makes it even better
