• Horangi Special (In-Season) - Only K-League cards. All have to be In-Season and 3 have to be a Heritage Edition. 3 Lineups Allowed
• Sakura Special (In-Season) - Only J-League cards. All have to be In-Season and 3 have to be a Heritage Edition. 3 Lineups Allowed
• Specialist (Classic) - Max of 2 Players from the same team. Min of 2 players with a L15 under 50. Max of 2 Players with a L15 over 60. 2 Lineups Allowed
• All-Star (Classic) - Any Card from Any Season. 2 Lineups Allowed
  
  
• Best of Asia (Common + Limited) - A free entry Comp. You need a Min of 4 Common Cards and can add 1 Limited Card. If you select a limited card it has to be In-Season. 1 Lineup Allowed

I won 20 essence from the competitions and then 1 essence from my box. So am now on 174 limited essence.

This weeks so far hasn't been bad. I started buying myself a Galatasaray stack at the end of last year and themas I started playing the stack they started doing awfully, and then Dries Mertens who was my big high scoring buy got dropped. It goy so bad I stopped putting the stack in and last weekend I didn't even play a single one of their cards as they weren't doing well against rubbish teams let alone a hard game.

As they did well last weekend though I gave them another shot and finally they look like they might win me something. Not as much as I paid for all the cards even if it sticks but with what they have contributed in non-stacked teams its getting close



Wish I had entered its as my main lineup as while not alot more it would have been $20 rather than the $15 I'm getting right now

 

I'm undecided. Here is my thinking

• If I use it now I stand a good chance of getting a card that only has a few games utility
• If I don't though I'm going to break the 250 level and maybe even the 500
  • I can't choose once over these to craft at 100 instead so I will get less card
  • In theory the card is better but I could still pull an MLS card (I'll probally be even more likely to by the time the new European cards are out) and as the MLS actually combines the T3 and T2 levels you are as likely to get the same card at a T3 craft as a T2 craft but its costing 150 extra essence
  • The odds for T2 and T1 craft levels don't actually justify the extra essence cost

 

BTW I just want to recommend to you all Apples MLS season pass if you do have MLS cards. It's £99 for a season pass (or if you sub to AppleTV+ already it's only £79.99). Every match live, a great 360 show when there are multiple games on so you can keep on top of all the matches, good multiscreen options as well plus highlight packages and wrap up shows. Oh and if you join a match late you can watch a catch up of the key action before joining the live coverage. Is available via not just on Apple devices but any device you can install the AppleTV app on (which is most things now, if you have Sky even the Sky box has the AppleTV app)

It's just a really good package. It's kind of what Sky seems to be attempting with things like the EFL and Tennis with plus but done better (not least way better streaming quality, while the EFL stuff on Sky looks like maybe 720p, is a bit dull and I do get some issues, this is pin sharp and vibrant and is rock solid. It's one of the best looking 1080p sports streams I've watched). Maybe the only downside is there is obviously a certain amount of Americanisation which can be most noticed at times with the commentary where some of them go completely over the top but not all of them are like that (The matches with Danny Higginbotham with him being English aren't as over the top for example)

Personally I watch the earlier kick off matches, either on 360 if there are multiple matches or if there is just one like right now (Columbus vs Miami) and then any that are on after I goto bed (or if I goto bed part way through) I'll watch the highlights over breakfast the next day. And actually the quality of football in the MLS is pretty good and makes it a decent watch

 

You may as well use them. It's the last chance to use them today so you may as well go for bust. TBH I always find non-weekend matchups easier to win as well

 

I'm out of tickets so I can't help any more unless there is a match between 10am and 3pm tomorrow which I don't think there is (Annoyingly I'm 1 short of a streak).

You might want to sub out Gutierrez in your Girona vs Betis lineup when you can. You are only 7 points behind with him being on 22 you will obviously jump into the lead with a sub as long as they don't then do anything stupid

 

I don't know where they got those points from. I had it worked out that with a few mins left in the games that we were 5 ahead and getting 3 points in total and they were getting 6 points.

We were on 94, got our 3 so are on 97. They went from 89 to 105 which is 16 points. I can't work out how they got 10 more points

 

Certainly if anyone does have any spare tickets it might be worth entering at least the midnight ones. Only the 6th place ones of their have entered so it's not like we can sit here and hope they lose points. If they lose points it makes no difference to the 5 who count
