Sorare Pro Game Week 68

Almost every team covered is playing this weekend so we all have plenty of choices and should be able to put out a large number of competitive lineups.

Some interest specials as well, especially the Cap 230 in-season as thats going to be great for some of our 'worse' cards

The Game Week Missions don't have the greatest, 1000 in XP on one and $5 credit in another

They have also reduced the MLS hot streak target to 350 which makes that easier to get the $3 if you have 5 In-season cards

This game weeks specials are

• Cap 230 (In-Season) - Pick a Lineup of In-Season cards with a combined Lastv 15 of under 230. No other restrictions. 2 Lineups Allowed
• Top Tacklers (Classic) - Any player from Any Season but Tackles and Interceptions now score 9 points. 2 Lineups Allowed
• All Star (Classic) - Any Card from Any Season 2 Lineups Allowed

• Bundesliga (In-Season/Classic)

The new XP system making you have to enter teams even if they won't all play makes things crazy. These are my lineups this week. Maybe 20 are ones that I think have a great chance to win a prize and maybe 10-12 with an outside chance but I had to enter over 40

 

Not the best game week for me. Got a few cards left to play but only one is likely to make a difference and thats my Rare Reward from All-Star rare is likely to go from the lower reward box to the higher one. It might just sneak into the higher reward box and a T5



So many of my lineups actually miss out on a reward by under 10 points and so many of my XP rewards are under 10 away from getting Essence instead which would be better. I'm going to fall short of the amount needed to craft again currently. Too many lineups got screwed over by expected DNP or negative decisive

My Cap 230 one is annoying me as well



At one point that lineup was 4th which would have won me $200 but its slipped back and now it's down to $20. How are so many people scoring over 423 on a lineup with a L15 under 230? The new way of displaying the scores has made it easier to check who I could have put in which would have got me higher and my best possible lineup is around 460 which would have got me 70. The scores needed are actually only a little lower than in Champion Div1 where you aren't restricted so could have put in a stack of regular starters from PSG or Bayern which was impossible with in the 230

Did manage to sneak an extra $4 in Div 2 of Challenger which is a nice bonus but would have preferred like $100 or enough essence

 

I guess thats the problem of this time of season. Teams are at a point they have nothing to play for so may do some unexpected rotation, while others have big matches coming up and may do some odd rotations to keep a player fresh for these bigger games.

With your cards I wonder what Ramsdale will do now Southampton are officially down? If he stays at Southampton I can see him having the kind of season Traffords had for Burnley but you have to think he will want a move but apart from one of the teams coming up are any better teams going to want him. Newcastle want a new keeper but they are supposedly going for Trafford after PSR made that impossible this season. Bournemouth maybe but as Kepa's contract at Chelsea is up I imagine they will go for him and Neto's loan at Arsenal is over at the end of the season and I believe they have a option on extending his contract. Supposedly Amorin wants Onana gone from United but Ramsdale doesn't seem the right profile (There's a rumour of DDG being brought back if Onana can be offloaded). Obviously also Rumours of Allison and Ederson leaving but Liverpool already have their replacement signed and he isn't the right profile for City (Unless City's punishment is being kicked out of the league). Chelsea also supposedly want a new keeper but with Sanchez and Jorgensen already there and Penders and Petrovic back from their loans if they bring a another keeper its going to be a bigger name than Ramsdale

It seems like I stand a decent chance of crafting an MLS card or Contender which could be either K-League, J-League or one of the South/Central American leagues where you get a card that has in-season utility until the end of the year.

If it's mostly in Challenger and Champion though then yeah saving it probably makes sense as you have a couple of months utility before they are classic cards.

Ideally Sorare should really take the cards out of the pool as soon as the last game of the season is played but they won't do that as they wouldn't have any Challenger or Champion cards to hand out so they will remain until the early access cards can be issued

 

Ok these are a little delayed as I replaced my Network Switch this afternoon that should have been disconnect the 24 network cables, remove the old switch from the network rack, add the new switch into the network rack, attach all the cables and then it just works but oh no it couldn't be that simple so spent since about 2pm going through every room in the house, making sure every device is working and when it wasn't mess around with the configuration page for the Switch until it works. So have largely only had my phone until finally just now at 5am got everything working and able to do these

This is probably why most people just use wifi rather than having everything wired up when it can be especially when you have so many devices that you need a 24 port switch at the centre of your network even though in many rooms just a single cable runs to it where there is a dumb switch where everything in that room connects into.


Guess its less important this GW seeing as Sorare are running a test using SorareInsiders predictions where its an expert on each team predicting not SorareData's every user predicts with prizes for the best predictions which can make them massively inaccurate.

I'll keep doing them as while the sources I use do sometimes share the same expert its not the case for every club and more info is always better

• European Nights (In-Season/Classic) - Only cards playing in the Champions League. In-Season requires 4 In-Season cards. 3 Lineups Allowed
• Conference Nights (In-Season/Classic) Only cards playing in the Confernece league. In-Season Requires 4 In-Season cards- 3 Lineups Allowed
• All-Stars (Classic) - Any Card, Any Season 2 Lineups Allowed

The European and Conference nights will be tough simply because there are so few teams so putting out a lineup will be difficult let alone win.

Got 3 essence from my Rivals promotion.

Wish they would announce when Rivals will be ending. I saved up a bunch of tickets to have a real last week push seeing as they said it would be a special game week but they then delayed the end. I don't want to blow them all right now because I would like to both give myself and the squad the best chance in the last week but I could be doing much more if the last game week is like 3 months away or is never going to happen

 

Oh and I rushed this morning to get my teams sorted having only had a couple of hours sleep only for them to remind us its a flexible game week so I didn't really need to sort my teams out until later when we know the starters

That's an amazingly good card for a T5. It might actually be useful. Usually I get screwed by cards being in tiers too high for them but seems to be working the other way this time

Also got 3 essence from my boxes, the 10 normal and $24 in cash and 2500 in XP

 

By the sounds of the new casual one it seems like it might be similar to the one we have in the MLB. It's maybe better for 'Solo' players but it will be a shame if there isn't a co-op element to it as well as enjoy that part better than just playing solo casual (Although maybe thats because I don't really have any understanding of the MLB and NBA so my casual games are there have no real strategy to them).

Anyway picked up 12 points earlier which got me 6 more tickets. Should be enough to get promoted this week if I just stick but we aren't too far from first in the Squad so i'll probably look to play more over the weekend. I seem to do better if the more obscure matches for Europeans so I might stick to the Asian and South American matches rather than give points away in Europe
