Sorare Pro Game Week 56 + 57

Game Week 56 is a busy one, plenty of tournmanets and we all have a significant number of cards we can play

On the Specials we have 3 different ones

• Vamos Argentina (In-Season) - $15,000 in total prizes. Only cards playing in the Argentona Superliga. Requires a min of 4 In-Season cards. 3 Lineups allowed
• Anti Stack Cap 270 (Classic) - Max of 1 player from a team. Combined L15 has to be 270 or lower. Cards can be from any team and any season. 2 Lineups allowed
• All Star (Classic) - Any card from Any Season. No restrictions. 2 Lineups allowed

On top of that we have the two MLS specials leading into the launch of the Standard MLS comp

• In-Season - Minimum of 4 In-Season cards. Acheive the target of 300 and get 20 essense. 3 Lineups allowed. Plus Bonus XP for reaching top 50, Top 30 guareteed 5 essence. Top 25% given a fast pass to Division 1. 3 Lineups allowed
• Classic - Any MLS card from any season. Top 25 get a fast pass to Division 1. 3 Lineups allowed

On top of that we have the standard compitions of

• Premier League (In-Season & Classic)
• La Liga (In-Season & Classic)
• Bundesliga (In-Season & Classic)
• Champion (In-Season & Classic)
• Challenger (In-Season & Classic)
• Contender (In-Season & Classic)
• U23 (Classic)

I don't start finalising my teams until the morning but I'm just doing some prep and wow this is going to be complex. I have like 565 cards with a match this weekend, a good percentage of them predicted to start. Deciding which players go in which lineup is going to be tough

 

Well the new level up system see's us earn XP for our performance in game weeks which goes into a XP bank which we can then use on any player we wish (with cool downs though so you can't save 10k in XP and then take a card from level 0 to 10. See table below)



BUT players still earn personal XP for being in teams so yeah sticking them into a lineup even if you can't put out what you think is a competitive lineup makes sense. The reduction in number of divisions helps a bit here imho as throw away teams are less likely to get relegated. The other advantage is a throw away team might actually perform and at the very least earn some XP for the XP pool allowing you to upgrade more players

 

Somehow this lineup isn't winning a card

 

Union SG's keeper losing his clean sheet seemed to have snuck me back in on a T5.

Rivals has been annoying, First I missed out on a streak because one game finished fractions before another. Then the Shamrock game went to pens and despite the pens not having any impact on the score it hasn't been marked as ending but the Ajax one which finished after closed first and lost me the streak again

 

There are about 3 games left (plus one thats half way through) and this is what I'm onto win



I might lose the T5 card but fairly good week.

 

36 teams strong teams entered. My weakest on paper are my two MLS in seasons but my MLS currents are great.

Then have 5 further punt/xp farming linupds

 

So I won £15.82, 3 Limited Essense and 3 x £3.95 market credits.

And my T2 card was


Which would be a good pull if I didn't already own an in-season card of his

 

It's too early to judge but this increased essence seems mental if it holds up as before essence in the boxes i'm currently winning 45 essence.

If it ends up being this easy to earn essence maybe I'll wait to craft at 250 rather than 100

This no double reward thing has really hit the boxes as I'm only getting 1 in rare right now but I haven't pulled 45 essence in a single GW from reward boxes since they nerfed the boxes so thats a fair trade. And the $24 is from hitting multiple In-Season cash rewards which I have never done since the in-season/classic split so thats also a positive if that means these are a little easier to hit, would be fine with getting a couple of smaller cash rewards atleast once every 2 GW's than one bigger one that I hit once a season.

My rare team winning a card is mental as well, my rare lineup was really built for hitting the old thresholds. I think i've only ever won a single card with it and it was a non-playing T5. Obviously there are still some games to play but I think I should hopefully be able to keep the t3 and there are some pretty good pulls in the t3 pool (I wouldn't mind one of the starting keepers as of my 4 Rare keepers only 1 is a starter or in a covered league right now but if its not a starting keeper I would prefer an outfield one)

I'm also winning market credit on the free game which with previous weeks wins will take me up to about £15 market credit to use and about £35 in total of cash to spend which would actually get me an in season keeper for the MLS.

Could have been even better as well but about 7 of my lineups had unexpected DNP's which killed them

 

My big issue with rewards right now is the way you seem only to be able to win XP for in-season comps and the fact you only win it if you don't win any other rewards. Maybe it will have the result of allowing people with less good lineups to be able to level up quicker and get a leg up on those with better galleries but it seems abusable

 

Game Week 57 has two specials. What is now the regular All-Star event (Classic Only) and a Cap 230

Cap 230 will be interesting. 230 is an average of 46 so while not really low you certainly can't pick players who score well almost every week

In regular comps we only have Premier League (In-Season and Classic) , Contender (In-Season and Classic) and U23's (Classic)

Anyway here is the data to help each of you (Remember this is just guidance, it certainly helps but sometimes you have to use your own judgement and gut feelings rather than go on what others think)

So I ended up with

Just over £17 in cash
1 Tier 3 Rare Card
1 Rare Reward box

My T3 card was


Which is a pretty good pull. I would have preferred a lower L15 starting keeper tbh as keepers are a bit of a restriction for me in Rare (unlike Limited) but atleast it's a starter.

And from my Rare Reward Box I got 3 essence
