Sorare Pro Game Week 48

This is a bit later than normal. There are alot of questions marks on starting still so I was hoping for more info to come out but it seems in many cases its going to be much closer to the submission deadline before we get further info.

Anyway we certainly all have fewer options (or in @derrickh100 case only 2 cards, one of them being Mings who's injured again) so I would certainly suggest everyone gives a try to the common competition where anyone scoring over 400 points will evenly split $20,000. You can play ONE limited card but unless you have a limited card that you know is going to do 80+ you might just be better going for a full common stack.

Anyway the non-free competitions this GW consist of 4 Specials and 1 Normal. These are

• All Star (Classic) - Any Card from Any Season. 2 Lineups Allows
• European Champions (Classic) - Only cards playing in Champions League. 3 Lineups allows
• Champions Night (In-Season) - This is like the Common competition where there is $20,000 on offer which will be split by anyone scoring over 400 points. There are also position rewards on offer. The top 20% get a box. The top 3 also get a Mystery Signed Shirt. You can only use Champions League Cards, a minimum of 4 have to be In-Season cards. You get 2 Lineups
• Champion Specialist - Again only Champions League cards. A min of 4 have to be in-season and you have to fulfil the following criteria. A Min of 2 have to have a Last 15 Average under 50. A Max of 1 can have a L15 over 60. You can only have 2 cards from the same team. You get 2 Lineups
• U23 - The Standard U23 comp, any card from any season as long as they are u23 eligible. You get 3 Lineups

I totally missed we have an extra day so I'll post updated starting percentages later today

 

At the moment I'm going for



but thats likely to change as we will have all the lineups before the deadline so I will both adjust these and decide which Limited card that is likely to score well I can sacrifice (If I don't just decide to go an all Common lineup)

I won't be playing a City card though, the way they have been playing and the fact Brugge's have a decent defence but also are pretty handy attacking I wouldn't be surprised if they failed to get the win they need and even more surprised if they keep a clean sheet while scoring lots.

PSV players might be worth a punt mind you, I had been keeping them away from my provisional lineups but with Liverpool keeping half their squad at home including most of the big hitters I can see PSV getting a result

 

Be aware that Neuer has training alone and in doors only so he is a doubt. So when the teams come out he is the first one you need to check on

 

Not to mention that he will be wanting Digne to get a decisive and if thats a goal or assist it wipes out Kaspers clean sheet decisive.

 

It's a match they should win and seeing as they are in the last Automatic spot but they are one of 8 teams on equal points so they need to outscore everyone behind they could be on for a decent haul of points, especially for the attacking player.

Sparta also can't make the playoffs so do they potentially rest some of their better players as they are struggling a bit in the league



They are 3rd and probally enough points ahead of 7th place with 11 games of the regular season left to make the Championship post-season group which guarantees them a European spot but with only the first 2 getting Champions League positions (1st enters in the 2nd qualifying round, 2nd in the 1st qualification round) its going to take a bit of effort in the remaining 11 matches plus then the 5 championship round matches to get into the top 2 and certainly to get 1st which will be what they would like

I will have to remember to use all my level ups on any card I put into one of the 20k comps before the Game Week locks to maximise my points

 

Depends how easy the night is though, if he has basically no saves to make thats 60 points. Those extra 25 points is a decent amount of saves that need to be made. Ofc lots of saves and managing to prevent any goals is the perfect situation

 

Think I may have talked myself into Leverkusen with the following



Infact I just used my market credit to buy an In-Season Mukela and then also picked up a Classic Grimaldo so I might use one of them in this lineup (most likely swapping the common Grimaldo to the Limited one) and the other in one of my other lineups

 

Have to say I'm not a fan of these deadlines, hopefully it doesn't become a regular thing as having 30 mins even though I had a rough lineups already was a real rush.

It saved me a couple of DNP or benched players but wasn't worth the stress

 

How's everyone doing at Half Time? My Limited line-ups aren't doing amazing, got a number of great scores just not in the same lineup and my keepers are all letting me down in these.

The common one though is doing really well and with how much of nightmare keepers seem to be having I'm not sure that many are going to hit 400 so the price per person could be pretty good.

Just need Courtois to keep his clean sheet and Harry Kane to step up and I should hit 400 with ease
