Taking out international management to focus on the womens game was an own goal. Get your bread and butter right then worry about added extras like womens football eh...

World cup year as well, utter madness. They've said they are bringing it back in by the spring but even still, you could be marketing this to all the yanks that are going to take in the world cup this year and try grow your base but nah, lets roll out some utter dross and just patch it weekly for 6 months.

Tbf I'm enjoying my City save, but i stay off sites with like tactic tips and all that stuff and just try figure things out on my own. I immediately find that i just lose interest in something if i google tactics or wonderkinds or download the editor, all that kinda stuff.

I don't know anything about game development, but I've always thought why they just didn't implement the FM24 UI into unity and added womens football/the new in possession/out of possession tactics. That way they could have released FM25 and had another year of development ready for where we are now.

I doubt adding women's football took up much resource to be honest, it's just another database really, but agree about the move to take out international football was baffling. They claimed not many people actually played it, so I'd love to see the figures to see how many people are playing women's leagues.

I guess it's around image? I think most players would have preferred the FM24 UI with a better engine.... but drastically changing the engine and leaving the UI might look a bit half arsed? That's if the UI was too compatible with the unity system? I have no idea.

To me, it looks like they tried making it look a little more console based, but the console UI is just as crap and doesn't really look like the PC one too much either, so it's a mess on all fronts. Tbf, they've had the same UI for a decade or so now and i remember when that came out it was slated by the players but everyone got used to it by the time the next one came out. I don't think the UI will be massively different for FM27, it will just work better with slight tweaks to how it performs, rather than a UI overhaul.

I played international management and liked it, well, i liked it to the point when you get to the world cup quarters and your squad are all knackered but you dont have the option of resting in training on INT management for some reason even though you do for clubs.
