I've added in the usual name/competition fixes, additional kits and logos plus the regen facepack. All working fine.

Not sure you've seen the modder online who's making the stadium pack? He's made Valley Parade as well, so that'll be a good addition once he finally releases it, although I don't think it's going to be this side of Chistmas.

 

The money has gone mad on mine. I've just got the end of my first season with City and been given a wage budget in league 1 of 180k p/w for next season. Tried to renew contracts of Hadi and Ibbitson, both want over 2k p/w.

 

Wait until you get to the champ. I was at Barnsley, we had David Watson a Scottish CM who's at Kilmarnock in the real world but a few seasons in he's found his way to Barnsley before I joined. He's 3 star ability and close to full potential.... he was on 17k a week at Barnsley after promotion and our budget in the CH is was about 240/250k a week, nothing spectacular but I cant really have decent to good level players on that money.

He was fuming after promotion as he wanted a new contract to better represent the player he is. I said no as he was already my top earner and that pissed the ENTIRE squad off. So I backed off and said I'd offer him a deal...... he wanted £135k a week as his starting offer. After another failure, the entire squad had another meeting to say I'm ruining the dressing room atmosphere and Watson cant do any more to earn a new deal. The another meeting a few week later to say I'd broken promises.

Morale was nuked, the team hated me, pretty much all my top hierarchy on the squad wanted out and had put transfer requests in. We were floating around the relegation slots by October and I jumped ship to Coventry at the first chance on triple the budget with a better squad and youth. But the stupid budget bugs lead my team to destroy itself with unreal demands. Every senior pro wanted a new deal and most wanted about 50/60k a week but Watson wanted Saudi money in South Yorkshire.

 

Oh and I sold Tyreik Wright who Barnsley signed for £1.5m, didnt play him, then i came and again didnt play him but he went to Shamrock for £2m despite barely kicking a ball for a year.

 

I had similar issues in one of my saves, but I think they should have fixed the wage demand issue in the last patch. I haven't really had any issues since the update.

 

I thought i was doing well for game altering bugs for a while.......... Championship play off final has just gone to penalties and the match has frozen. Been stood watching my keeper with the ball in his hands for 3 or 4 minutes now. This used to happen on the first builds when coming out for the second half when all the players would just stand there and the game would never get on but i've not noticed it for ages. All i can do is press instant result and not see the shoot out or kill the game and play it out again.

Dog walk time to stop me launching this laptop across the room.

 

Aye, best thing you can do with this game currently is make sure you have the rolling auto save feature on, and make sure it's on weekly!

 

Got to the point where i had to auto-result to get through the game. Lost the pen shoot out, felt scummy to re-load the game and try again......... every decent first teamer handed in a transfer request as they want to move on in the world and the dynamics are on their arse once again.

Seems like morale is a joke on my save so far, literally a few odd things happen and everyone throws their toys out the pram and i now have 12 players in my squad who are unhappy, just because we lost a shoot out.

 

I've been shouting at it since the game came out tbf mate

 

I got bored and stopped playing it.

Currently battling away in 16th century Japan.

 

I'm also struggling to get into a long term save. I think it doesn't help me having the instant result button there, coupled with the 5 back strikerless formation being totally broken, the game feels a bit too easy at the moment.

That said, it's totally my fault for creating a similar tactic to the broken one and lazily skipping through matches.

Started my City save over Christmas. Finished 7th, missed out on the POs by a point. Just finished the summer window in my second season and think I won 2, drawn 2 lost 2 so far. Cant get any consistency out this team.

I had a long save before Christmas but it was just a list of the old issues. Managed to get the Arsenal job in the end but they have a £7m per week wage budget and it was littered with nonsense wages from the initial bugs around money. Like they had King the Fulham teen who's played a bit this season, he was on £475k a week and was a 2 star Champ standard player. Had a few sort of 2.5 star players who were 5th/6th choice on £300k+ per weel and nobody will take them off my hands and as the money bug, Arsenal were skint. £400m in debt when I came in, wanted me to cut the wage budget by £2m per week. Might go back to it at some point but it's a save thats victim to the shed tonne of bugs early on.

 

FM24 was a decent game and they had 2 years to improve on that - very shoddy from SI. Wont be taking the plunge.

I still play CM97/98. Can get through 2 seasons in a night. CM 01/02 is brilliant aswell.

 

Really weird development for this game. I was reading something over Christmas and Miles at SI basically said they only started working properly on FM26 around February and they finally gave up and cancelled FM25. Doesn't look like a lot of FM25 made it's way into FM26.

It will still be a game or two away from looking good in my view. They had to take the plunge onto the Unity engine this year and it was always going to be a struggle, but there's no reason it's THIS much of a struggle other than it just being a nightmare behind the scenes at SI and they just needed to get something out. FM26 is basically going to be a year long beta in my view and FM27 will be roughly the same engine but a better UI fingers crossed, not great but better. And probably by FM28 it will be back to how they need to be. It's just how many gamers they turn away in the gap between getting a working FM on Unity once again.
