Flyover Postponement

    Morning

    I have just received the message that due to the wind the flyover will not be possible.

    This will come as a disappointment, but I support the decision made by the team. Safety is paramount, we're not talking jumbo jets or 747s, as you can see from the photos. IMG_4783.jpg IMG_4784.jpg

    We now have to decide whether to postpone, or accept a full refund. Its not going to be possible to try to refund some but not all, so I'll leave that decision to a majority.

    I'm not creating a poll, since I don't want non-contributors voting.

    Personally I would postpone it to the Oxford game on 24/11/2018. If something happens in the meantime, which makes it redundant, then cancel. The person you want to see it, should be at that game, as it is a long time since they will have last attended VP.

    The next home game is 3 weeks away (24th November vs Oxford). I guess the question is whether or not people think it's worth waiting until then, Rahic may be back from his holiday by then or an announcement may have been made regarding his future (if rumours are to be believed).

    Rahic is back today but won't be attending, accordingly to Parker.

    He's a clever man though, managing to arrange bad weather to stop the flyover. More damning evidence to add to the list

    What a shame, but out of our hands.

    Next home game surely?

    The snowflakes will have to replace their moans about the 'minute's silence issue' with some other tripe.

    Rupp is supposed to be coming over as well, so him and rahic together @oxford would be great.

    At least the sensitive souls can have their minutes silence for the leicester owner undisturbed.

    Aye I would say postpone it for another home game and hope wind conditions improve.

    I doubt Edin will be gone by our next home game.

    ……….that's scuppered all the media attention also!

    However, if Rahic has come out of hiding, maybe he will be there too (unless he goes on another 'holiday')

    Can't help the weather JB so let's try for the Oxford game. It would be better especially if both owners where there to see it and then they will be able to guage how pissed off with them we are.

    I go for next home game, we need to make our point.
    I heard many of our fellow posters who didnt want it to happen meet up and went at Midnight Mass last night, looks like we've a battle on if he's on there side :(.
