I've got a sneaky feeling Kelleher might start ahead of Paudie. Big brute at the back like Adams favours. Not that Paudie isnt a brute, but Kelleher seems even more of a brute

 

You could be right Ulysees, and I wouldn’t mind. I like Paudie’s enthusiasm but he is error prone. Canavan will be skipper i reckon, so two big brutes at CB taking no prisoners could be a solid foundation to build on. Maybe Adams’ line up vs Blackburn on Sat will tell more…..

 

4-2-3-1 doesnt automatically require two holding though. Watt was the best passer of a ball in L2 last season - stats dont lie.

Possession is also key. And while Sutton does dirty work at times he looks like a sunday league player on the ball.

 

Agree on all points. I was slightly taken aback by Ulysses selection with Fiacre instead of Paudie and no Cooke. But then you've got to 'think Adams'. Adams likes big characters ( in every sense of the word) and Fiacre was a rock in a desperately losing cause at Macclesfield - and their skipper - and though a big brute, he looks pretty mobile. I like Callum Cooke alot and think he'll find his moments in the coming campaign, but I think Ulysses is right - more likely to play Cillead for the starting games.
