First friendlies announce

Is it me, or do friendlies seem to start earlier each year?

 

Rumour has it our pre season training tour is taking us to the beautiful far flung place of leeds
I’d expect 2 close by fixtures like Harrogate etc

 

I remember the eccy friendly other year far from friendly they kicked ten balls of shit out of us

 

What if the new coach has other ideas? I know there are a couple of dates pencilled in, but shouldn’t we get someone in before picking teams to play against? The coach might want to set up against different systems to one they offer.

 

Remember, the new coach is only here to say yes to rahic, so I don't think it's going to be any real issue

Luke Dean had his leg snapped in half and Peter Taylor marching on the field telling Ian Banks the Eccleshill manager to substitute the player involved or he was taking his team home.
Also had a go at the ref by telling him it was an awful tackle and he should have dealt with it differently.
Always get a rough element to these games as those teams are full of ex professionals trying to make a point.

 

The first league game is 4th Aug so we need to start earlier. don't forget no new permanent signings after that date.

 

Hoping for Tadcaster personally!

 

Went to the last Tadcaster friendly, great day out.

 

I'm not sure if it was the last one, but when I went I think we won 7-0 and it was a cracking day!

 

Won't be long before it's the first local game on our seasons fixture list.

 

I would have thought friendlies away give the pitch time to settle

 

I doubt the coach will have much say
