I randomly got into a conversation of all places LinkedIn. His comment when I suggested he might get the Bradford job if he plays his cards right. "Haha that is a managers dream job! Great club and fan base. I have such great memories of my time there and was gutted to have had to leave. Really hope Hopkin and the club have a bit of luck and get the success their loyal fans deserve. ⚽️❤️" I think majority of fans would of liked him to be at the club and on form. Just goes to show how injury combined with an increase in form of another player can change your position at a club so quickly. And we wonder why players want job security, long contracts and cash. That illustrates. You are only as good as your last few games

Very reliable is the best way to describe him. Solid as houses. Gets few assists and odd goal.
Can play right back but better as a mor solid right wing. Don’t expect flying winger but always gives a 7/10.

If you put DMH together with Ishmail they would still not be as good as just one of his legs

I don’t like us to sign the same players over and over but id have got him in a few weeks ago with injuries on a short term deal until end of January and told him to earn a deal until summer

Just fit enough for debut v. BCFC on 23rd Dec.! Past his best? Not rated at Crawley

Absolutely guaranteed to score against us. DMH makes him look like George Best at his peak.

I always thought we let him go too early. He had a long injury layoff. He had a few starts and sub appearances after that but never looked fully cooked and appeared to be trying too hard. We released him; Parky snapped him up at Bolton and his prolific assists got them promoted.

Think for us and Grimsby in a relegation battle he’d be ideal. Plus usually ok for being fit and not on the treatment table a lot

an imagined reply by Stuart Mc.........
Listen, an a mean it, un good look to the lad an all, but look av got to question ow much he loves the game, when I was playing I’d ave played for bloody free, i loved it that much, these players, they’ve listened too much to agents, old out theve bin told, eventually some desperate club will come along and offer proper money.....amin again I’ve got ta question ow much they love the game.
Listen, we don’t want players like that at the club, let me tell u, we ad one, a striker, didn’t live and breathe the game, said he wanted to be nearer is family an all, well let me tell ya I’ve got a young lad called Guthrie, he might not score as many goals, might not get as many assists, but he wants to be ere and he wants to learn and to me that’s like gold dust, I’d much rather work with that than someone good but with a bad attitude.
And bi ‘t way can a just say, those who think i talk Scottish when interviewed in Glasgow & yorkshire when interviewed down ere can all F**k off*
*this interview was purely fictional and in no way mirrors Stuart’s actual views

Saw that Kevin Ellison has been signed by Newport, 41 years old.

Morais would be a great signing at this level

To be fair, he lied to us and told us he wanted releasing to go sign for an SPL team then joined Bolton as free agent. I've always suspected they tapped him up and we only released him because we had no idea he was signed for a promotion rival

True. But I guess my point was that we released him because we thought he was in decline. Then he went to Bolton and was assisting goals for fun. He was the difference that got them promoted. Bad misjudgement.

Very poor judgment. He would have torn millwall a new hole at Wembley
