Sharpe was very honest and upfront on where we are in terms of competitiveness with the top clubs.

@NorthernMonkey@NorthernMonkey you must be gutted to hear that some clubs are losing £10-15mill a season in league one.

Ryan looks to have lost a bit of weight.

Sparks made a good point that little or nothing had been done on maintenance of the ground with the previous regime and though it’s costly they have to spend money on new seats, roof repairs etc.

The “club” were decent but the questions , I wouldn’t dare put my name to some of them . Why aren’t we buying the ground , building our own coaching centre AND spending £m’s on players !

Edin Rahic was instrumental in halting Bradford City progress.
Coupled with Six years spent in League Two I still don't comprehend why fans go out of there way to moan about spending money we don't have.
If it wasn't for Rupp sticking around we would be finished and that's a fact.
What the hierarchy have achieved with little financial clout from outside sources should be applauded not ridiculed.

Just catching up, yup hes looking sharp (not Sharpe).
Find these events a bit dreary to be honest, as some have stated it would help if the questions had some vetting to ensure a positive and enlightening forum but can see why Raynor likes to promote total transparency
Watched a couple of clips and answers much as expected from Sharpeand Ryan - did Genty actually say anything? ;)

I think they would be better meeting up with the fans tbh. Yes they would be asked some difficult questions, but also there would be a face to the question. All seems very sterile.
Things I took from it are,

1 We have teamed up with an American Digital Banking Company, no idea just yet of what that looks like.
    2. Rupp said good bye to 1/2 million £. In order to bring in new players
    3. A reminder of how far we have all come.
    4. We have a great recruitment team, and deserve our support for all the hard work and research.
    5. The football management are working hard to make sure we are as competitive as possible in every game.

We do not have millions to through at it, but we can work hard and see where that gets us. It has worked so far, let’s see where we end up.

Link to the full forum with the extend 30 minutes at the end. The extra bit starts from 56:50
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0mz438l.

    Areas of discussion:
    • Academy/U21s: No real update, upgrading to a category 2 academy not likelihood anytime soon due to cost
    • Stadium improvements: Working ongoing over the next 12 months. The club will announce over the summer how actions are to be taken in response to the feedback from the survey. Next priority on seating is the Midland Road stand then the upper Main Stand as they need replacing for safety reasons. Safe standing currently not going to happen due to cost of installing them and you have to match what you do in the home end with the away end
    • Catering: Improvements have to be made, current average waiting time in a queue is 10-15 minutes. The club will work with Tiffin to improve that as well as food options. Spend per fan is way too low which needs improving.
    • Tickets: Ryan Sparks didn't seem to be aware that some other clubs release details of how many fans are in each points bracket, he's not against the idea and will talk to the ticketing team about it.

It was alright apart from some daft questions which Jamie should’ve left out to be honest.

Can’t see it being them. I’d say Crichlow for sure, and Harry Lewis.

The buying the ground question was asked last time. Why people are asking the same questions I don’t know. Waste of time asking the same questions again. See also “Why are you playing Humphrys as a striker”. Jamie asked this not long ago!

this is where I’m calling shenanigans based upon the outgoing and incomings.
Maybe before accounting for incoming fees and saved wages

I wouldn’t mind Crich back at all in our current set up.

I liked Crich but he can’t even get in Barnet’s team at the minute and he’s not even injured as far as I’m aware.

I enjoyed it. As Jamie Raynor pointed out, no other club gets that many decision makers in the same room to answer whatever bollocks we care to throw at them.

I enjoy guessing which fans have played too much football manager.
