I'm guessing Tiffin were struggling for staff.

 

I think they manage the kiosks? I presumed this included the Fans Zone?

 

Think so-some one in front of me ordered a balti pie and was served a veggie one-think their staff struggle to read English

 

Clubs done well on a number of things but they have missed a trick with this one or whoever is running it ............. nearest drinking houses north parade now ????? I am sure a lot of folk would have a few at the fanzine if it was open before venturing in

 

The club has not said why it wasn't available, just that it was beyond their control.
I wonder if the police said they didn't want it in view of the large contingent from Doncaster and a Yorkshire derby. We had all the other things that go with similar occasions, Midland Road closed, police horses etc.
I couldn't see it would make a great deal of difference myself, but it would not surprise me if this was the reason.

 

The Fanzone is poor. It’s located in the darkest, coldest place behind the Kop with no shelter.
Most fans prefer to drink outside in the sun or if it’s raining, not get pissed wet through.

Its amateurish to keep shutting it on the day of the game for unforseen circumstances. Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail. Bet the 5 star boardroom banquet is never cancelled.

 

I'm assuming they were also struggling for stock. 20 past 3 I went to the tea bar and they had already sold out of pies (apart from a few vegetable ones). Terrible effort considering the crowd was almost all ticket and the crowd could be fairly accurately guessed days before kick off.

 

5 star boardroom banquet. Ha ha. If it’s the same chef and company who does all the other hospitality food trust me it’s won’t be 5 star

 

The one I attend last year had a mobile bar you struggled to get near and a bloke stood on a box playing a guitar. Not the best, but a start

Hasn't Yorkshire Deli taken over? Really good in Wakey so if that's the benchmark it will be good.
