    I'm reading that after the cup win, the team went on a three match tour of Scandinavia. Does anyone know why Scandinavia, and where did they play and against who? Seems quite exotic for 1911!

    They were invited over, although I don't know who the invitation was from.

    1st match was in Copenhagen with City winning 4-2 against the Academicals
    2nd match was a 2-2 draw against a composite team named United Copenhagen
    3rd match was a 0-1 defeat in Sweden against a United Swedish XI (drawn from the principal clubs in Gothenburg and Stockholm.

    Although the Chelsea game is high on my list of great games I have to rate that game the best, me and @Park were off our heads ;).
