    Top priority should be auto promotion preferably
    as champions.

    If we win cup games,great,extra money but we have
    to manage it properly.Any more serious injuries and we
    could fall away in the league.

    They are similar to pre-season games all about getting players nearer match fitness, but getting clobbered by an opponent and picking up an injury doesn't count :thumbup:.

    I despise blank Saturdays. I'd rather be playing Gillingham away than no match at all. Plus any money can go towards strengthening our league promotiom push. I love cup runs. Some of my best City memories over 45 years are of famous cup wins.

    By that ... May I assume you think these games have no purpose or benefit ?
    If that is so, then I'm sorry mate - Without games such as these, our players would return from injury far from match fit.
    And you always want our strongest team on the pitch ? Match fitness plays no small part in that.

    FWIW........ My own hope would be any team at Home, or a winnable Away tie, within a few hours drive, as opposed to a 'long haul' (Ipswich, Plymouth etc).

    If you take league position into account, then Chichester City, who are 8th in the Isthmian League South East Division, are the lowest ranked team left.

    I'd like a northern non-league team at home. They'll treat it as their cup final and bring loads of fans to help swell the coffers. Halifax, York or Stockport would be great.
    No Harrogate or Whiby away. The away allocation will be tiny and tickets a nightmare.
    I'd be happy to get to round 3. Bag a PL team at home then out. A few dollars in the coffers without a protracted cup run damaging our league form. Job done
