According to Steer and Kiwomya on live Radio Leeds commentary Henley made one absolute screaming blinder of a tackle where he came out of nowhere to clear the ball just as their forward was about to put it in the net. They were still going on about how great a tackle it was two minutes afterwards.

I do but I'm also curious as to why you think there aren't other issues rather than "yeah fat Barry's free next week so we'll play it then".

I imagine it's very possible but tough to organise in such a short space of time.

 

Decent team performance, no worse with Shrews even with the absences. Not many clear ut chances either end, poor marking at back post for their goal. Wood did play well, midfield did ok and defence was solid. Officiating very poor.

 

One year it will be true.

Either way we're in div 2 and the grounds are poor plus our pitch isn't great.

That one was either BRE or wood mate, couldn't tell as they were wearing same coloured boots. Deffo not henley.

Akpan and Anderson absolutely awful today imo. Akpan strolling around as usual and when Anderson came on was totally inept. God we missed Pritchard and Cooke today. However thought the team played well and truly deserved the replay.

 

Steer and Kiwomya repeatedly described it as Henley making the goal-saving tackle. Guess we'll have wait for extended highlights to know whether they or you were wrong.

 

Funny you thought the team played well but fine time to try to pick on 2 players.

The Akpan thing is boring!!

Devine was brilliant was he? Because he's a local lad he doesn't get stick?

 

If you read the T&A live blog it says it was Henley and was a superb tackle, So both radio and the T&A say it was Henley,

Akpan was decent yesterday, moreso in the first half than the second. Devine by his standards was ok and Anderson was dreadful.
