Cup runs saved Lawn and Rhodes butts during their ownership. We need to get to the 3rd round at least. There’s always time for a cup run.

£15 for an adult for a first round cup tie with only bottom tiers open. I think that will put a lot of people off, can't see the attendance reaching even 4,000, especially considering the away following will be small too.

Pretty sure we've always had the early rounds at £10 a ticket, why the need to up it to £15?!

If you don't like the price don't pay it.
City only get a third of the money , after running costs, maybe the cheaper prices in the past have finished up with the club making very little from these games, as hardly anyone bothers with the early rounds.

I can't understand the apathy shown towards the early rounds of the FA Cup. When I started supporting City in the 1950s crowds for cup games were often bigger than league matches.
No doubt there will be a surge in interest if the team makes it to the third round against a Premier League club.
To get there they need support against Exeter, so if you're local get down to Valley Parade and don't forget to keep your ticket stub. It may come in useful in January

It’s all electronic these days EB, ‘Supporters who secure their place at this encounter will have 20 loyalty points applied to their online balance’.
Despite having gone to Dartford at home, down to Milwall (and survived), the return home game against Milwall, and having the ticket counterfoils they didn’t count for the Chelsea match.
To be frank the electric record and release them to those who have the points seems the fairest way.

Rod do video match passes count? I have bought 4 this season and been down to the Barrow game.
My next trip to Yorkshire will be for the Northampton match where a repeat of the Wembley performance would be most welcome.

I am not sure. My daughter who lives in San Francisco has an annual I-Follow ‘season ticket’. I raised it with the club, would they be treated the same as Season Ticket holders, with a view to purchasing tickets, for say Wembley. The cost of the international I-Follow package is around £140 a season. They were ‘considering it’, no clear answer.

Well I intended going but the restrictions on the seating areas lower Sunwin and lower Kop will be like sardines in a can so it’s a miss for me unless city change the seating arrangement, for the extra couple of Stewards required they could have opened the Midland road stand, my guess is if we win on Sat it would double the estimated ticket sales gate of 5k against Exeter to about 9k to 10 k
so come on City open the midland road stand it will also give a better atmosphere.

In all fairness the Main JCT stand holds over 9,000 and the Kop just under 7,500. So even if the top sections hold 60%, then the bottom tiers could accommodate over 6,500.

I think if the club communicated this to the supporters then many people would be sympathetic to the circumstances and I reckon we would turn up in half-decent numbers (with proportion to the event itself, of course).

Rather than slyly upping the price in hope that some don't notice - it just causes further distrust / division between fans and club.

    No chance.

Even if we were top of the league we'd struggle to get 5,000 for an FA cup 1st round tie at home to Exeter.

Yes your probably right Bigrod but let’s assume we get the win on Sat will they wait till the last min to open up to top tier of the Kop or the Sunwin I estimate that we will get more than 6,500 so why not ope the Midland road to get a better atmosphere which holds about 2/3k
