EV Running Costs

He he, I sold my ID3 for £2k more than I paid for it with 10,000 miles on the clock and 18 months old.
It’s knowing when to sell and buying another taking advantage of new model deals and dealer discounts, gets me an ID5. Now I have 325 miles on one charge in summer. Still paying 2p a mile for all my driving . Whereas you will be paying about 18p .
If you want to play daft buggers , be prepared to get rinsed and made to look slightly stupid?

When do you last buy and sell a current family vehicle , less than two year old that sold for higher than one paid for it?

I’m 100% home charged on Octopus Go ( No solar input) I’m currently paying 7.5p per kWh tariff until July . I don’t use public chargers ever . With 320+ miles range in summer and 300 yesterday, I have had no need to use public chargers.

I expect that to rise in July to 10p per kWh.

My 100% charge covering 325 miles in summer would cost me £5.77 . ( 77kWbattery x £0.075) / 325
The fuel costs for you to cover the same distance ?

So you give in and daren’t quote me your cost per mile because I know the answer already. Unless of course you are running on farmers diesel? Eye watering in comparison isn’t it! That why you went quiet. Remember mine is 1.9p per mile. Oh and thanks for paying my road tax for me for the last two years. . Remember the cost of the car is personal choice, running it isn’t!
You do it every single time, jump in with both feet and end up floundering.
The moral for you
Don’t start a debate with wildly inaccurate comments, then dig your heels in with more stupid claims and finally cave in…..you just end up looking ridiculous.
