Here's the lineups for todays first game

I might change my lineup but this is what I've gone with right now



Zinchenko is a bit too expensive so I might take him out and go for a better extra player

Annoyingly having looked at the qualifying campaigns of both I did seriously consider a Romania lineup especially as I was aware of a few of their players from Football Manager but I bottled out of it

 

Oh ffs. Again I thought too myself do I take a punt, Belgium after all are perhaps the biggest bottlers in International football but I didn't and then Lukaku and Trossard both bottle good chances and then that

 

And again Trossard bottles it. England may have wasted our 'golden generation' back in the late 1990's and 2000's but I don't think we were ever as big bottlers as this team, especially as we weren't generally ranked number 1 in the world like Belgium have been for so many of the tournaments over the last 10 years

 

And once again, how did Lukaku not score

 

Well today has been awful so far for us. Although @shoatsy is up into the top 5 by being a little less bad than some of those who started the day above

Would have helped but even with them we would have struggled to make 300 points. The Keepers not getting their Clean sheet decisive that adds 25 points and the defenders not getting their 10 points for a clean sheet does limit things. Even more so when a goal comes by a mistake, a good number in our league had Doku and the negative decisive killed his score.

It's crazy how few clean sheets there have been, think its just 4 unless I'm forgetting one and two of those were from massive underdogs

 

This is one of the few things I don't like about the Sorare scoring system. We saw the Ukrainian keeper given a 'mistake that led to a goal' negative decisive even though it wasn't directly the cause as the player it was played to was forced to pass it but Mbappe gets no credit there for forcing an opponent to score an OG

 

There is a similar thing with Penalties. The player who gives away the pen gets a negative decisive even if the pen is missed. The player who won it only gets a positive decisive for winning it if its scored
