European Championships 2024 - Day 22

Here are the lineups for the last game of the Euros and the last game in the Euro Rivals league. So the last push to both win the final daily reward and to push our league just a little higher.

Although I did just get a survey when I logged in about potential further rivals leagues, would be interesting if they did something either based around a single league or maybe a group of leagues with a few matches each day being selected as eligible games. So hopefully we can continue this as IMHO its been a nice addition to Pro

Now you just need to transfer that over to the pro side of the game Although It would help if keepers weren't unexpected dropped. Screwed me over as I would be on for 6 cards and 11 Reward boxes if he had played. Although I can't complain about 5 cards and 9 reward boxes

 

I'm not sure. Might be around 6-7pm tonight or the rival game week ends tomorrow so they might go out then or with the pro rewards tomorrow

 

Just a tip if the rewards come in before the submission deadline tomorrow, if you get essence and you get over the the 20 needed to craft a card it might be worth doing it. The Euros and Copa America have created a bit of a 'bug' in the essence system meaning you are more likely to pull a higher tier card from it than you are next week. So while normally you probably want to wait until you get enough to guarantee a t3 or above, if you get over 20 essence points while this GW is active its worth the punt, you may just pull a t5 but if you are going to pull a t0, t1 or t2 from 20 essence points its more likely to be this GW

 

I'm guessing they are having to do that because of the Germany situation. As you remember for most Germany matches we were having to either guess which striker would come off the bench or select the opposition striker as they weren't playing with any card that was designated a forward.

However when it comes to normal cards both Musiala and Wirtz have both Midfield and Forward cards meaning if you owned a forward card for either you could select them as a forward. What people noticed is some of the leagues in the top 10 had people who owned multiple cards of one or both and what they were doing is they were sending one to others in their leaguer for free allowing the whole league to gain an advantage. And actually these issue arises with other players, its not bad as with Germany but there are teams where the 3 best players were all in the same position so you could only pick 2, one in the position and one as the extra card but they have Limited/Rare/Super-rare/Unique cards in another position so you could select all 3 if you had one of these while others can only pick 2 and the same loans have been happening with these as well.

Now loaning used to be common in pro, if you had two Messi's and were only using one, you might lend the other to a friend (sometimes for a loan fee or a cut of reward value won but sometimes for free). It is one of the reasons they added 'play or list' where if you list or sell/transfer a card that's in an active lineup that lineup gets cancelled as that potentially saw you give up rewards and the person you sent it to couldn't return it next week as it would invalidate their lineup. So you now have to agree in the current GW, send it in GW 2 if you were using it, they can't use it to GW3, can't send it back until GW4 and you can't use the card yourself until GW5. It basically takes about 15-20 days so it's not really worth it. They also added some wording to the terms that didn't outright ban it but gave them discretion to punish people doing this kind of co-operation if its deemed to be damaging the game which has made it more small scale, less organised and less damaging to the game as a whole. However what's happened here is potentially damaging hence why it needs looked into and if they are found to have been co-operating to gain an advantage everyone who was involved needs kicked from that league

I was onto win 4 Cards (Two Tier 3, Two Tier 4), 12 Reward boxes and £2 in Cap240.

As you both might not have access to Cap240 as its being phased out and only people who entered it before that was announced can enter how Cap 240 works is if you reach a score threshold you get paid a cash amount. I needed to score 270 to win £2. I scored 275 until this afternoon when Opta adjusted Pickfords score and dropped my score to 269.8 so I missed out

I opened all 12 of my rewards boxes and pulled TWELVE level up's. At this point I'm not sure I have 12 cards that make sense levelling up.

So I have a keeper who is backup and while Asian teams often like rotating their keepers he has a manager who is one of the few in Asia that only takes out the first choice when he is injured.

Higashi hasn't played a game in the last 15 matches, infact since March 2022 he has started ONE game, been an unused sub in ONE game and hasn't been in the match day squad for 73 matches. Only positive is he is u23 so maybe it's just too early. Ares isn't much better although again he is u23 so might come good and atleast he has a few starts and does sometimes get off the bench..

Konno isn't a bad pull but I bought a card of his last season so doesn't help as much as he could. .

 

Not bad, 19 and plays a good amount. With so many South Americans moving to Europe even if a young player isn't one who is good enough to make that move they will usually get lots of domestic games as they develop. Only problem is without a move the Argie league is in contender which you lack cards in. You need to hope he gets a move, MLS or Brazil whose leagues are Challenger would be useful or one of the challenger euro leagues which are the Dutch, Belgium, turkey, Portugal, Denmark or the Championship. Either that or obviously one of the big 5 to go with your other champion teams



I got a non-playing keeper. He is u23 so atleast it's not a 38 year old keeper who doesn't play but would have preferred yours

It's a Shame they had it hidden in the small print you only got the reward for your best league. Would have been a good way of getting new people closer to having a starter lineup which would have been a great way to convert more of the rival league people
