Can't produce if he gets no service? I actually feel for him slightly. He's been stung but it was the only option for us to recall him. Look at the video montage of his goals at Swindon. 90% put on a plate inside the 18 yard box. We need to change our way of playing or we accept he's only going to get a couple more goals this season which won't be enough for him to lead our line.

 

As you have criticised just about every player where is the squad that can do miles better than two points of automatic

 

Swindon have signed a striker today so maybe they don’t need Doyle after all.

Yes he has. Swindon have signed Hope...(no don't get your hopes up everyone!!)...Hallam Hope from Carlisle on 18 mth contract according to BBC.

 

Yates being recalled may well affect Doyle's attitude
to wanting to go back to Swindon.He must of had a
good understanding with Yates,wouldn't be the same.

 

Played against City on boxing day, can't say i remember him at all.

 

I'd argue how many had Doyle scored before he came to town? and Hope had scored 14 goals to Doyles 11 last season.

Don't get me wrong losing both Yates and Doyle is a blow, and from what we understand is that we will get Yates back after after Rotherhams next two games as he is there to cover an injury. I Hope its true (pun intended hahah)

 

Doyle's goals came in a division higher for the team who finished rock bottom though.

It was the final nail in the coffin for GB for me that game. I'd been to every home and away game in November and December and got absolutely nothing in return. I couldn't give him the satisfaction of taking the piss out of me any longer. The amount of money I spent in that period on city could have had a nice holiday with. Think my next game is Newport away. Only going to get it off the tick list. I've got no commitments for the upcoming games but I'd much rather spend my time more productively than watch a GB team on a Saturday afternoon. I can't stomach watching professional players being advised to play in that manner. Just not my choice of entertainment.

 

Orient away did it for me. Expensive trip out a week before xmas to see one of the most disgusting approaches to a game I've ever seen.

 

It has been reported that Newport's pitch is a cabbage patch,so dont expect much entertainment that day.

Shocking stuff. I was with mates who moved down to London for work who were neutrals and couldn't believe what they were seeing. I'd never been so embarrassed in my life I had nothing to give them back to stick up for us.

 

Fair play for the commitment on going to all these games. Whilst I've done 70+ grounds in my City supporting life, Oldham away is my first away game this season. Some contrast.
